I hope you decide to stick around, man. I've always enjoyed your posts! A couple of months ago, I was cruising the classifieds with a pocketful of cash from a successful Vegas trip. I think a Zen came up for about $100 more than it originally sold for, and I sent a PM on it. I didn't buy it, but it did get some controversy roiling here on the thread. That was right about the time that Zen made his feelings on profiteering on his work crystal clear. I understand his position, and withdrew my offer.

I guess for me what it comes down to is this is Zen's Supplier thread. His thread, his rules. I don't always agree with everything here, but for the most part I really enjoy the community, culture, and family here. I haven't seen much in the way in tarring or feathering this time around- when I sent a PM on the sale a while back, I (as a potential buyer) was called an idiot here. Anyway, the positives outweigh the minuses here for me. This is a great bunch of folks.

I don't want new people who want a Zenesis to come in here and feel alienated for being human. I think it's been done to death in other threads, and I didn't buy their products because of the antagonistic atmosphere that was prevelant. I wanted to post that a long time ago.

BTW: Dear Me, I replied to your post, but it was not directed at you, nor did I wish to single you out, I just needed to say what I said, because it has been bugging me for weeks.

Look, I love Star Trek and wish the world was as unselfish and Utopian as life is on the Enterprise....where money is meaningless and altruism is a standard operating procedure...really it's a wonderful fantasy as long you exclude, HUMAN NATURE! Capitalism is NOT the best system, just the lesser of many evils taking into consideration the reality of human nature. At least everyone knows the rules to the game and losing at that game is part of reality.

The payment notices go out this weekend...tonight probably. IF you are on the March list. Are you on the wait list from the site? Or are you on the March or April lists he initially began with? IF you are on the wait list from the site, there's a Limited number of Z-Atties due the week of June 25 and you will get an email telling you when they are available. That's when you run to the site to buy.

I just put myself on the wait list from the site just wondering -- when might the next batch of the Minis be out I understand the Zen master is VERY busy & I will do my VERY best to be patient & wait for my Zenesis experience

I just did the same, does anyone know if after you add yourself to the wait list if you are supposed to get an email or see a confirmation page confirming you are on the waiting list?

I checked my account and don't see any products on the wish list so just wanted to make sure I got on the list

Yes, the March list is the first list for the ZAttys. You will probably get a payment notice today.

if there are rules and you want to be part of it, follow it. At the same time no one can blame people's desire to own an apv like the zenesis in any color, form, any size, or any material.
Seriously, if you don't want people to be part of whatever going on because they sold their zenesis for a penny more than they bought it for, the person who bought FOR MORE than retail should also be doomed.
If i may ask you, do not get your panties twisted now this is just MY opinion.

Good morning!

This is getting a little out of control for me I had a nightmare about Zenesis.

I dreamt that I received an unexpected package with a Zenesis in it. It had the form factor of a Mini, but it was very light and almost translucent. It had a random, chaotic pattern of shifting colors. They changed and swirled around much like oil on water. It took me a long, enormously long time to find the switch and then, no matter what I did, as I pressed it the e-liquid would catch fire. I kept trying to put it off, but the fire would just grow wilder as the colors on the Zenesis would shift more stormily and ominously. Eventually, the tank exploded into many small shards, first in stop-motion / slow-motion then suddenly in real time and I could see the shards blasting into walls and furniture and everything around me like so many shrapnels, getting reflected all around and whizzing back and forth like bounce balls. Then shockwaves started coming off the center post, you could see them like expanding spheres of higher refraction, putting down trees and jolting cars and people into the air then I woke up sort of disturbed. Whew... WTF?

Maybe he should change the name from "waiting list" to "notify when in stock". It's not a true waiting list in the way you think. It simply will send you an email notification when they are in stock. Then you have to hope you can get to the site, order one before they are all gone.

I am currently cleaning up my inbox and saw a PM from zen in february.

I wanted to be on the list for the Z-atty PRO and it was sold out.
Zen asked me if i wanted to be put on the Z-atty U instead.

WOW..

I had a chance to have the BAM, TI standard, Ti mini, AYS, Z-atty U.

Why why why did i not do it then?!

June is halfway through and I have yet to even see a zenesis in person.

Maybe you guys understood this, but I just thought it needed clarification. Wasn't trying to be condescending. When I think "waiting list" I think it means you are actually in line to get one.

Also, with the "waiting list" when I signed up for the mini I got an email notification, when I signed up for anything else, I've never gotten a confirmation email

You should get an email when the product is available. Then RUN to the site to buy it because everything sells out within minutes.

You're not alone, I passed up the Ti Mini, and two separate chances to get a standard when they went up for sale in March.

Wh0, I'm with you! The comment about eggshells was mine. I also said this Place could be tricky. If someone has problems they are given the stock "just vape it!". Vaping hot spots is not good. Read about break down of VG at high temps. @stormy, pm me hun as this could be part of your symptoms. Especially If ya do go to your local b&m Monday.

I paid with my hard earned $ but there are as you say, so many strings. It's mine to do with as I see fit. Is it gonna be outdated in 6-12 months? Quite possibly. I'm the type chasing new tech all the time. In true addict form, I want the best nic delivery system I can get. Zenesis is nice enough, but the strings and the increasing occultish nature leave a bad taste. I sipped of the koolade but Im not tipping the solo cup. If this post gets me banished, I'm fine with it.

I’ve kept to myself on Hthis whole issue, but frankly it’s ridiculous. If a person wants to buy something, has the money, and decides to spends it on said product at an agreeable price then who is anyone to condemn the seller or the buyer? People have “FREE WILL” to choose whether they wish to buy the item you are selling at whatever price you determine is agreeable or simply pass on the sale. The idea that buying a Zenesis comes with a plethora of strings attached of an almost a religious nature is preposterous. We live in a FREE MARKET CAPITALISTIC society and SUPPLY AND DEMAND dictates what value all goods have by the demand and scarcity of said goods. This idea that the person who buys a product and resells it at a profit is somehow a greedy, amoral, scum of the earth person, is pure hypocrisy. If the creator of a product is so annoyed with other’s profiting from his efforts he should either charge more or simply be thankful that early adopters bankrolled his inventory with the idea they could profit from buying additional units. Do you hate Wal-Mart or Target or any other retailer for charging more for their products that they obviously paid less for? Did they force you to pay a profit on the product that they surely didn’t create? Isn’t the fact that they have the item you want at a price you’re willing to pay, a fair arrangement for the energy and money it takes to conveniently acquire, provide, and store the product locally for you worth a premium?

Value Added, can simply mean I HAVE WHAT YOU WANT, I WAITED FOR WEEKS, I SPENT HOURS ACQUIRING THIS ITEM, so you didn’t have to...now pay me my pound of flesh or go to the back of the queue.

It’s simply a choice. The ones capable of paying the premium are obviously making a valued judgment as to what their time is worth.

The whole thing boils down to whether Zen wants to be in business or start a religion? I personally think this whole “Tar & Feather” approach by forum members will ultimately just alienate people to not want to be part of this group. To borrow a phrase, It’s like walking on eggshells in here and it’s only getting worse. This self-righteous indignation is nauseating. What, no one here has ever bought and sold something at a profit before that they themselves didn’t create? A person who simply wants a Zenesis and is willing to pay more for it to get one, is now bound by some unknown rule that they must loose money on it if they decide to sell it at a price they themselves paid?

“CAVEAT EMPTOR” has somehow lost it’s meaning?

If this is the direction of this thread, then banish me. I don’t care. At least I won’t have to read pages of hypocrisy and self-righteous comments from people smugly pretending they are somehow of a higher moral fiber while condemning people for being human as well as opportunistic. More importantly, you can not police human nature, and if you try you may likely harm Zen’s business more than help it.

Keep your Kool-Aid, it tasting sour to me.
