the testers were a little rough (dry) but we have that fixed for the production ones
Per the Volcano chat last night they are looking at Friday of next week - possibly that Monday. 8/6 or 8/9.
I have been holding back, dearly, onto mere blades of grass to keep from buying a provari, the LT2 is the only thing that will help me accomplish this. Help me help me accomplish this.
There is a chance of them showing up on 8/3 but they are most likely gonna be here between the 6th and the 9th of Aug.
Can't wait to upgrade from my chrome LT to the new ones, only problem is the gf wants a pink metallic one, I know you said earlier in the thread that those would be released a few weeks after the initial release date.... Has that projection kept up with the delay for the 1st batch ( meaning the colored models will still be 2 weeks after ) ? She's gonna make me wait so we can order both at the same time...ugh 
yea the metallic colors will still be a few weeks behind the Black and Gun Metal Gray ones.
I have a ProVari and I'm coming back to LT because I miss the click button, ProVari doesn't have this feature in their button and I can't stand it, I need to hear that click. So once I buy the new LT I will be selling my ProVari here on ECF. Sounds kinda stupid to some folks but I love the click when I fire up my device and insist on having it back.
I like the look of this new version of the LT. I'm glad that it's got some new features like ohm checking.

Thanks for all the information. My only problem now is deciding between the Gun Metal or waiting for the Blue. Have you tried your samples with the Vivi Nova tank by any chance? If so did you have the same problem as the chrome or ss original version has with this tank?
Well the provari is way out the window for two reasons. One, I hate the uni button design. And I just bought a darwin.
Bizzybot, you're going to want extra batteries anyway. Just order a couple of the 2000 mah from lighthound. I love them in my LT.

Are they still on schedule to arrive this coming week? I'm expecting you will say it needed more last minute cosmetic changes and shipment is delayed another few weeks.
FWIW they said over at http://forum.volcanoecigs.com/new-lavatube-coming-soon-t9725-40.html there is no more changes being made and waiting to ship. Guess we will see soon , I'm off Monday so I will be checking every couple minutes
