Cannot wait, I hope that you will ship to Canada. I also wanted to ask what you mean by the 4.0 mp limit was too hot? Wouldn't it only be as hot as the atty used? ie. 1.5 ohm at 4 amps would be like 18watts or so.
I didn't understand that decision, but I assume that their must have been other problems, such as excess heat and electronic fugly uppers. lol.

Man I am glad you canned L-Rider. They screwed you guys on the first one and I am happy to say I will be buying from source this time. My first "knight rider" was done in 3 months. I am not easy on my stuff, but am not hard either. The worst thing I do is sleep with it, ie. fall asleep puffing and wake up with my PV half way under my gf's ... or my own. lol.

That has broken a few cartos an caused countless spots on our sheets from spilled ce2's lol.

Anyways I get paid thursday and cannot wait to get a new VV device other then the twist.

I know what you mean about colors but I figure black goes with everything. I am wondering if I should wait so that they can get out early glitches or just bite the bullet. I just hate sending stuff back on warranty especially with the BS option of them telling me it was my fault. What I HATE more then anything is when I try to fix stuff myself an my solder skills arent great but then they tell me after I send it back oh wait you did this and I feel like saying well Frig I didn't want the hassle of sending it back so I atleast tried to fix it and the problem is not the big hunk of solder on the connector, it is the positive wire being disconnected and to be clear I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT VOLCANO as they seem to be great folks. I mean hawaii they may as well be canadian in my books. LOL.

Although you mentioned that you're not talking about Volcano, I just want to tell you about my personal experience with their warranty. My wife's LT started having an issue with the button after 5 months of daily use. I contacted Volcano support and they issued an RMA and paid for the return shipping as they gave me a label. After I sent it in, I had a new one within a week. It was a simple and easy experience and reassured my purchase with them than cheaper alternatives. It was that easy.

If you've had bad experiences with other vendors in the past, I can relate. But I can assure you from first hand experience that Volcano has some of the best support and innovation in the industry. I can't wait to get my hands on a 2.0 and they will have my $ within 24 hours of it being listed because I know they have my best interests at heart. Plus I know that they tested the hell outta this one. Best of luck and hope you are an early adopter! If you aren't, then more room for me to order for loved ones and myself. 'Nuff said.

bugs and issues part of what cause the delayed release is the fact that they have been testing the hell out of it. just to make sure its top notch when it hits the market... how many other places would deal a device that would double sales during the first week or two. not many as they rather deal with the headache of rma and a backlog of returns then make sure everyone will be as happy as possible.

True True, I am just going for it. There is no reason not to in mho. I am super psyched. I really want to know if this LT will tell us when we hit the amp limit and not just limit it for us. It makes me feel uneasy not knowing what voltage I am at, as that is one of the points of VV.

The button looks badass though.

I think I am just going to grab the kit for the AW battery. I was going to just get body but I don't know.

on it you can check the ohm of the atty/carto as well how much battery life is still available. and yes the voltage you are vaping at is visible. so as long as you know what each ohm is capable at the amp limit you will be fine.... If memory serves me right this one will have a 3 amp limit. so at 1.5ohm you top out at 4.5v, at 1.7ohm you will top out at 5.1v at 2.0 ohm you top out at 6v, so anything 2.0 or over will be able to run the full spectrum of voltage.

i listed 1.5,1.7, and 2.0 ohm since those are the more popular lower ohm. of course what you may use will vary since most stuff has a variance of +/- .2ohm or so.

You don't want it!!!!! Over priced. And the uni button design is an annoyance. Click 5 times to do this, then click some more, or click 7 times to do this, and then click some more, or click this many times to do this to see that. Just wait!!!

You're right about that. I had been hearing about the "great" Provari for a while and then I watched a review that showed how it worked and I couldn't believe it. That is such a PIA. I'm going for the new LT without question. My only problem is deciding on the color.

I would use the generic battery from my generic LT but I have decided on the kit. Also the provari would wreak havoc with my OCD. I already Obsesive compulsive disorder OCD my twist adjusting the voltage so it is right at the line and crap like that. I would hate it. I would hit the button 14 times to get it to the voltage I want and "it woudn't feel right" so instead of hitting button to 4.4 then back to 4.5 I would have to hit a million buttons to go to 4.4 then a million to go back to 4.5. (Basically OCD is like you feel real anxious until you do what ever your thinking about doing compulsively) mine has alot to do with texture and feel.

Anyways What I meant About the voltage thing is where it top at at 4.5 with a 1.5ohm atty or where it allow me to go to 6 while only feeding 4.5?
That is what I meant.

LOL, it's actually not quite as bad as you made it out to be. When I got my ProVari a few months ago I actually put off opening the package for several days in fear I would never learn how to use the push button system...I was totally being stupid and ridiculous! I had it down in 5 minutes...you don't even need to read the manual, you push the button on the device and the LED window tells you what to do, it's very simple and not confusing at all. They do it that way to keep buttons to a minimum (think Apple), it works very well with no problem

I am returning to Volcano because I miss the click in the button, the ProVari doesn't have this as I mentioned earlier in this thread.
