Concur also.

I'm so Libertarian that I'm not even a member of the Libertarian Party.

My 16-year old came home from school the other day and asked me if I knew anything about "juul things like you have." It appears the cool kidz are collecting them.

I told her that I wouldn't own one because they're stupid expensive and underpowered for my needs, but that some people are quitting smoking with them.
The Children have found out that Nicotine is a Drug..... the juul uses ultra high dosage nic juice.....

Hasn't anyone noticed all the people looking for that Rush or high from their vape? Those are children and very likely breaking rules to post. They should have checked with mommy before using the net.

I think that the administrators are on top of their game on not allowing underage kids to have an account with ECF and post here.

How might a Internet forum verify this?????
Sure it's easy to spot sometimes in a post.... but this is a forum... not the real world.

People do lie.... just turn on the News.

I started smoking at ten by buying smokes for my NON smoking mother...... then I got a fake ID.....I lied to smoke... people served in WW2 by living about thier age..... it's pretty easy to lie to a Web site.

It's cheap, super powerful nicotine wise, very stealthy and easy to hide, super easy to operate you need absolutely no experience to get it working so it's basically tuned to the younger crowd much like cigarettes are.

If the kids were going to be experimenting with cigarettes anyways, not that I think kids should be doing either I'd rather see them vaping.

If the Juul becomes available in Canada I'll probably grab a few and liter them around my house, camp, vehicle etc etc..

A billion years ago I use to walk down to the only store within five miles of my grandma's house to get cigarettes for my great aunt, who lived with her. The first time I did it I had to explain what I had come in for to the cashier/owner of the place. So he says, "What's your grandma's name?" And I say, "Grandma." He facepalms and asks me where she lives. He remembers her number and picks up the phone. I stand there and listen to the phone conversation: "Verna. There's a little boy down here. Says he's getting smokes for Cindy. Says he's yours. Is that right? Yeah. OK." Then he tells me I'm allowed to have a few pieces of candy as well. I take the smokes and the candy back to my grandma's house. I was about ten years old. That kind of stuff doesn't fly any more.

My grandfather used to send me to buy cigarettes for him. I was only around 12 then. Never any questions. Just pay for them and go.
I started smoking at 8 years old and never was questioned or carded when buying cigs. Kids will always want to get away with doing what adults do. Regulate all you want, nothing will change that fact or change the fact that kids will get away with it.

When I started smoking there were still cigarette machines everywhere and anywhere, the arena, entrances to restaurants etc etc, I think it was around 93 when they pretty much outlawed them here so I was in a bind, getting my friends brother to get them for me and of course giving him a cut of the smokes, one day my aunt got hurt or something, I had to drop something off to her from my mom, probably Tupperware which was still all the rage then, she asked me if I could pick her some stuff up at the store including smokes, she wrote a note that had her number on it. Got to the store, showed the note and sure enough he called. Anyways he gave me the smokes, only him and his wife ran the shop, they had no employees so after that I basically had unrestricted access to.... Bensen and Hedges 100's.. Couple years later when I was 16 I ended up getting fake ID...

When I was in Junior High School (I think) my bus stop was the front of a Greek restaurant with a pull knob cigarette dispensing machine by the front door. It was under the awning, and it rained almost constantly in Virginia, so there would be a group of kids standing in front of the thing every morning M-F during the school year. As I recall it was 35 cents a pack. About 5-ish years later I would be buying them and smoking them on active duty in the USN.

I don't know if I would. Still sub ohm 9mg, granted only using 24w. Maybe I would. Think it's more likely I'd have a heart attack trying to get a decent lung hit. :D

Meh. I think the whole 'sub ohming' terminology has played out. It seems like a leftover from when it was really hard to get a device that was even remotely powerful by today's standards. So the only way to hike up the Wattage was to drop the resistance. One you got the resistance below 1.0 Ohm then you could get to substantially more powerful vapes than those crappy e-cigs and the handy 'mods' that were basically just batteries with some safety protection. Although the Spinner cranking up to 4.8V and beyond was pretty spiffy, lol. I would think that 'sub ohming' comes from old school mech mod users trying to get a strong vape going. I can 'sub ohm' on my Kayfun 5 clone with my Aspire CF Mod if i want and get a nice 25W vape - assuming I don't stupidly throw my 50/50@18+nic juice in there...again. Doh!

I just looked. The specs online say that my CF will handle down to 0.50 Ohms. It gives a constant 4.2V so that would put me at a little over 35W. I don't use it that way. I just like taking advantage of the constant Voltage. But that's what I mean by 'sub ohming' not really being all that big of a deal.

I don't care what they call it as long as I get a decent lung hit. I've found my vaping happy place and would wish the same for all of us. I have no use for labels. Vaping is still so young and we're still working on the terminology. Then there's the ones like me who don't even know what half the terminology means.

4.5 to 5mg is about my sweet spot for sub ohm, some flavors though I do prefer 3mg for lower ohm builds like VC or some other desserts, they just kind of taste better for me, generally I vape .25 to .4 although I do keep a higher .6 series build ready to go in case I feel like that type of vape..

In the end as long as you're being respectful it's not how you vape it's that you vape. I was smoking 40-60 cigarettes a day depending on whether or not I was drinking (my life definitely down spiraled for a while) I don't care what people think of the way I vape, vaping not only got me off the stinkies it was a catalyst for many other changes for the better.
