How long did it take you to get into mods (and what was your first)?

It took me 3 months before I decided to buy my first Chuck.

I probably wouldn't have bought a mod but I loved the idea of customizing it.
Now that I've tried true 3.7v vaping I can't go back to my standard 510 batteries anymore.

I've been using the Chucks ever since (14 months) without really wanting anything else.

I did, however, try 6v vaping on my Chuck but that was way too much for me.
And I did just recently buy a Bartleby so I could have something smaller for when needed.

Well lets see, I got my ego on Monday (my first pv) and yesterday I modded a CE2 carto with a blue plastic pen so that I could see the juice level, basically the same as a syringe mod but it matches my blue ego and I think it looks a lot cleaner. As of right now I have no desire to make my own box mod or anything, I'm still really keen on cutting it down to zero nic and anything besides a convenience mod seems like a step in the wrong direction (for me).

I started vaping with the KR808d-1; after about a month I ordered my first mod. After that I ordered a few more. I finally got an SB and have been completely satisfied ever since. It is all I have been using for about a year. Even though I would like to try some of the GG products and the Super T Manufacturing products; both look like high quality products.

I started with a 510 then a guy on this site made me a 5 volt box mod. One of my drunk buddies dropped it. So now I just make my own. the kit that you can get from MadVapes is super easy to put together.

Oh and I'm still waiting on the Megalodon I won about six months ago. But hey, beggers can't be choosers right?

A month after I started vaping, our favorite supplier came out with a tube mod, and it was so pretty, I just had to have it. I love my Aloha mod, and have no plans to buy another, unless there is a super mad sale on one that has really caught my eye (i.e. a bottom-feeder) or I win it. It's safe to say I am pretty happy with what I have.

I've been vaping for almost 19 months now and I was so intimidated in the modder's section but I wanted a bigger PV. I have never done anything like that in my life, had no idea where to start but I came across Maddog's Magnum video. I gave it a shot, it actually worked and I was hooked!
I have turned everything I could find into a mod. Then I wanted a juice feeder. Ya know, back in the day, they were never even heard of! (walking to school in the snow, up hill, in my bare feet kinda thing) Then I was really hooked! The thought of a 3ml bottle on board was the best!
Now I'm hooked on the CE2 and no need for the bottle. The modders seem to be headed in a different direction these days.
If you look at some of the old mods in the mod section, you'll see what I mean. Maybe just another dry spell, I guess. Maybe the new folks are happy with what's out there. We didn't have the Riva or Ego's either, so we had to make our own! They're reasonably priced too. So, get to modding! We need to see some new ideas!
Ok, so I mis-read! Sorry, you meant mods as in, buying not making! Even still, make your own! LOL

Took me 2 weeks.
Started with a Joye510, picked up a DSE901 around the same time and liked both atomizers but not the battery life.
Did a little research and purchased a Chameleon. It came with all needed adapters so I could use my choice of atomizer and from a great supplier that chatted with me and answered all my questions.
