been vaping a couple weeks now but haven't given up the smokes just yet. I have to have 1 or 2 first thing in the morning and usually 6-8 more throughout the day. but that's better than 1 1/2 packs a day! Waiting on replacement battery so we are down to one ego so my wife is still smoking regularly, which doesn't help!!
How long to give up Analogues??

I cheated my first two days and had a couple cigs. Then I started vaping like a mad woman and using it all the time. That did the trick
I got enough nicotine in me then and never had the urge to cheat again. Been smoking 30 yrs too so I'm amazed and surprised

I had my first vape almost a year ago. I had my last analog a few days ago.
That said, it wasn't until a few days ago that I actually WANTED to stop smoking. I'd use the vaporizer as a means to not have a cigarette (i.e. it's too cold outside, I'm kinda broke so let's not spend $5 you can't afford...) and that was my aim.
I got my better vaporizer a few days ago and I found myself really, really liking it with the combination of higher-nic juices (I have 36/mg regularly). I was sitting in my car with a friend having a smoke (non-smoking house and it was raining). I was about 3/4 of the way done with the cigarette when I had a craving for Tastyfinger. I was literally smoking and it was vaping that triggered what I thought would satisfy the craving.
So I simply didn't buy another pack after I ran out that night.

I am so glad that I found this thread! It is reassuring to a noob like me, that not everyone quits analogue's the first day or even necessarily the first week or two. I was starting to think that maybe vaping wouldn't work for me, but now feel renewed that yes, it will happen. whew!
