Had to add on this now. Up till a few months ago I had only encountered those I had converted, well it's been an eye opening couple of weeks, first there was the photocopier repair guy, then I found a physical shop just down the road from where I work than at weekend, I was at a geocaching event, vaping away in one of the sales tents when a guy stopped me and we spent a few minutes comparing equipment before telling me to happily vape on, I couldn't believe it. I like to believe it is because our numbers are growing and we are becoming more confident, keep it up everybody!

Yeah, I have more and more customers coming into the shop and flashing their equipment. I actually saw a Provari the other day in person, not just pictures. And the guy had three of them. I went to the local flea market to get a new battery (I left with two eGo Twists) and the little booth was so full up you'd have thought they were giving stuff away free. And I took note there are now three e-cig vendors at the flea market, although the latest looks real shady.

I hardly ever seen any one else vaping, which makes me sad. I would like to pick someone elses brain on eliquids or devices. I can count on 2 hands how many people Ive seen over the year vaping :(

Hey Chris! That is what the ECF is for, except here you literally have thousands of people whose brains you can pick. Vets literally start bickering in newbie threads, so eager are they to help. All you need to do is ask! Pick a question or 10, and start a new thread. Please help newbie choose a device. Or whatever... You will get many, many replies!

Yeah, I see people every so often, but almost all of them have an eGo of some kind. It's readily available in the area, so that's what everyone has. I've seen one Lavatube and the guy with the 3 Provaris. Those were the only 2 deviations.

And most people I meet don't realize there are other options for juice besides Dekang.

Here in Estonia, I've seen maybe 5-6 people vaping in the public. Couple of years back e-cigs were reported a lot in the newspapers and it seemed like they were taking off. But our legislators didn't allow liquids that contained nicotine on the market, only 0 nic liquids were legal and that doesn't attract smokers.

Man, it makes my blood boil.

The government would rather make their money from taxing Cigarettes and murdering the people, than supporting a proven (Debatable) harm reduction system. I really hope that the U.S isn't next.

On the other hand an estimated 2.5 Million E-Cig smokers and growing (Read somewhere not coo berated) in the U. S could eventually become a Political Pak.

You may not feel comfortable answering this question on a public forum, so feel free to private message me. I'm very curious, is there a black market in Nicotine Base. Have people started to import it, or synthesize it?

I have heard that people have found ways to import liquids, but it's rather small quantities for personal use. Definitely not massive business.

Nope, not a single sighting in the wild since starting almost 5 weeks ago. I didn't think much about it until finding ECF - now it's kind of hard to believe!

You will. When people see yours, you'll start seeing theirs. I'm seeing more and more every single day. People see me vaping, all of a sudden theirs come out of pockets and what not because now they feel safe doing it without ridicule. The shop I work at has become known as "vape friendly" because "one of the sales people has one." So we constantly have people in there vaping openly. And I am finding friends I've known for years are pulling them out, one has been vaping for several years and I never knew it. So it will happen, and you'll see a lot of them.

I would say it is perhaps 2% of the people I see smoking. Not counting my "converts", I see someone about once a week generally. Of course, Richmond is the home of Altria (aka Phillip Morris), so smoking is more common here than most other places I suppose. I know analogs are much cheaper than the rest of the country. With that many smokers, there are many more potential vapers. I would say that the trend is one of steady increase in vaping. I had not seen one at all 18 months ago.

I have only seen one person "in the wild" (next to me in a car, at a stoplight)... plus one at a bar. In the 7 months I've been vaping in Florida.

However, I have had SO many people (smokers) come up and talk with me after watching me doing it. I have handed out dozens of cards. Have no idea how many of those people have maybe, taken it up since.

Our conversations were so positive that I'm really hoping most of them did try it out

I found out that my son's best friends parents are vapers. She saw me with my ecig and was exited that there was someone else so close that also used them. I have only been vaping a few weeks, so I have had a lot of people give me strange looks, but have yet to see anyone else vaping.

Aside from my wife and her brother, I'm the only one I know. I am actively trying to convert friends and current/past co-workers. I'm very open about my vaping that I Vale at work in front of customers. Its almost awesome when the look at me and they are like, wait, did I just see smoke?

Well, I just saw 2 people vaping openly at the Lady Bar where I hang out. The first one I saw I noticed only because it looked just like the eGo Twist I like to vape in public. When I saw her button light up, I knew. Then, they shut down the balcony area, so we went inside to dance, and someone told me they have never seen an e-cigar before, and I explained to them that it was an eGo Twist, and the features of the battery. She was vaping on a cig look-a-like.

I've learned if you vape in public, eventually you will see another vaper "in the wild." :vapor::toast:
