How many packs or cartons did you buy at a time?

I know I don't!!!!I use to buy 5 cartons at the beginning of each month. Thank heavens I got smart in my old age and started vaping.
I bought them 2 cartons at the time, one for me and one for the bride. There's still 2 packs of my brand in the freezer in case the bride runs out. I wish she would start vaping. I quit buying hers and she's on her own now, maybe she'll get tired of spending her hard earned dough one day, one can only hope.
It depends on whether I was buying from the local CVS/Walgreen's etc (1 carton), or if I was going to the Indian Reservation to buy them, which used to be one of the great things about living on Long Island, and in which case I would buy up to 3 cartons. When I first started using the Indian Reservation, you could order them online, or over the phone, and they would be delivered within 24-48 hours. 
.. After a while something happened, and online sales from the Res were restricted, in which case I had to drive an hour out to the reservation ... which was well worth the money saved at $20-25 per carton.

Same here lol. I would smoke 1 1/2 -3 packs a day and smokes here are really expensive. A carton is around 90 bucks! So I would buy a pack or two, and usually go to the gas station twice
Thinking that maybe if I only bought one pack I could limit myself. Now everything comes in the mail. What was 2 days worth of smokes ( budget wise) covers the entire month of vaping 
Plus I haven't needed to buy any gear since August.

I bought 2 at a time for my wife and I...but every so often I would take a one hour drive to the reservation and buy 10+ at a time.
I used to buy a carton every 5 days Got them from the Natives here in Canada 68 bucks for 8 packs of 25 there 11 bucks a pack at the gas station

6 cartons at a time every 3 wks or so. 2+ pad in the last 12 yrs. 53 yrs total smoking, most at 2 pad. Even so, have spent more money vaping than smoking since last Aug. 'cause I'm wildly interested in it all......Besides I had to give up tennis and all its attendent expenses too. The lungs weren't the only thing going down hill!
Last May I was at an Indian Reservation Casino. As we could smoke in the casino I had a lot of people ask me if I tried the "casino" brand which was compared to Marlboro...they had full flavor, medium, light and menthol. I decided to try a pack and they were good.
A carton only cost $32.
I would stick a $20 bill in a machine. If I doubled my money I would pull it out and put it away to buy a carton of cigarettes. I did well enough that I brought back 14 cartons

I would usually get 2 packs at a time, mostly because it would save like a dollar and some change over buying one pack. Never bought cartons, probably would be now though, if I didn't start vaping.
I bought 4-5 cartons at the beginning of the month, just easier to do until they raised the price. I just got so sick of it.....
2 to 4 cartons at a time for myself. often more and some for other folks.
my last (just for me) tobacco related purchase was a 5 pound bale of loose tobacco and 10 cartons of empty tubes. it went pretty quick vise the last 8 or so cigs. they're still sitting outside my front door as stale as can be.

We would drive down to the Indian Reservation where there was no sales tax and buy 4 cartons at a time...It would work out to around $4.50/pack.
