How many packs or cartons did you buy at a time?

Depended on where I was buying them at the time but always by the carton, never by the pack. The last time I bought any, I picked up my usual 2 cartons but since I had been reading about these new fangled things called electronic cigarettes, I asked if they had any of them. They had a little kit called a nic-stick. I bought one and as they say "The rest is history". Never did smoke those 2 cartons. Hubby did, even though they were menthol and he didn't smoke menthol. He just didn't want them to go to waste.

I'm the type of person that hates to run out of things so I always bought 2-3 cartons at a time. I would never buy by the pack.
Since I started vaping, 7 months ago, I now have 9 packs of cigs in the fridge and don't know anyone that would want them. I know I don't!!!!

I would buy 2 cartons every other Friday.

Usually 1-2 cartons at a time, at Costco.

I had about 4 packs in my freezer for the first 2 years of vaping; I finally tossed them just before I moved out of state!

I had seven packs left in my last carton that sat there for a few months. When we made the move out of state, I was determined they weren't going to go along for the ride. They got tossed. I have to admit to a moment of panic before coming to my senses. Yeah, they were there for so long just in case. . Just in case never happened!

You got me with this one! Mind game is right. I remember having several packs open at once, so I wouldn't actually think I was going through a whole pack so fast! Crazy, huh.

Like you said, now we can have some fun. And from reading this forum, some are having more fun than others, lol. I mean collecting equip. and juice.

When I first moved to the USA in 1995, I ordered 10 cartons of Cdn cigarettes at a time. When they got too expensive, I found some US cigarettes on the internet that tastes Cdn. Bought them 10 at a time as well. When they started killing cigarette purchases from the web, I found a local cigarette that was sort of like Cdn. Bought those 7 at a time. Did that until I took up vaping and quit 3.5 months ago. Funny thing is that I can't buy vaping gear 1 at a time either. Need to have a ton of coils on hand, need to have multiple batteries and clearos ready to go. Must have 10 clearos in my bucket already. Have 2 MVPs and am buying a VTR next month.

I remember saying that when cigs got to be $20 a carton, would stop.......... Didn't we all make that $$$ promise to ourselves???

I remember my mother sending me out to get cigs for her when I was a kid, and I remember them going from 25 cents a pack to 30 and then 35 (which is where I lost track).

Biggest price shock I ever had was when I took a motorcycle trip across Canada in 2006. I only bought 3 or 4 packs with me across the border. When those were close to gone, I went to buy some, and they were over $10 a pack there! If I had know, I would have brought a couple of cartons, 'cause all Canadian customs wanted to know when I entered was whether I had any guns.

OMG Used to buy them by the carton and depending on the deal 5-6 cartons at a time. Used to kid myself and say I only did this every 8 weeks or so but really it was more like every 4-5 weeks. Never let myself get down to less than a carton and 1/2. rare occasion that I got down to just a carton I went into a panic.
