How many would like lighter draw, more airflow for VK batteries?

Would you like a lighter draw, a heavier draw, both, or just keep it the same?

  • I would like a lighter draw than the current batteries.

  • I would like a harder draw than the current batteries.

  • I think the current draw is perfect.

  • I would like to have both options available.

For some of you who are having trouble with too tight of a draw on your batteries, try cleaning out the little air holes under the threads.

Sometimes even a brand new battery will have clogged holes. Use a needle or pin (push pin works great) to clear those holes.

Thanks for this, Pawpaw. And Leaford, I also throw my
support for easier draw. The only plus I found with
Greensmoke, before heading your way (with great joy), was the easier draw and big vapor.

I've been using various lengths of your auto batts and am replacing them all with manual batts for the better draw. I'd actually prefer to stay with autos--no button to engage while in my pocket--if you update them. Either way, love your products and service, among the best I've experienced in any field.

I received a shorty with more air-flow, I don't like it at all. I find I have to cover the seam with my finger to keep some air in. Absolutely no throat hit with these.

I'm with Stacey on this one. I just got a couple more of these, and without covering the seam with something, I get very little vapor. To me, there isn't any difference on the draw between the "new" and "old" styles.

Born and Paw, do you guys draw into the mouth and then inhale, or just "direct" inhale into the lungs? I just can't draw long enough into the mouth to get the vapor going, because of so much air!

I am not really sure how to answer this my batteries seem to be all over the place depending on the carto I have on them. Some feel like I am sucking tons of air and get little flavor and vapor. Then I switch the carto and I get a harder draw and tons of vaor and flavor. Only thing I seem to have consistency on is my manual PT's.

I agree. I am just getting started with vaping and have different sizes - both auto and manual but with some of the carto's I find myself wrapping my finger or a rubber band around it for less air and with some I have to loosen the carto to be able to get a hit at all.

Running up my post count to become a real person here...

But I'm thinking, as a newbie, that I may have voted and responded before without really understanding "lighter draw". Maybe there are a few others like me out there.

What I really want is a bit more vape, overall. Yeah, not a big deal, I know, but I'm still fighting (successfully) the old analog urges from time to time. The GSs are nice in that regard, but I'm not sure why--VG carts or is it the design? If some type of lighter draw--but certainly not much lighter--would help me here, I vote for that. If not, I join the nay crowd to leave things alone. IMHO, the draw's not bad now, especially with the newer XL batts.

I love the draw on the new shorties, although I have noticed a manufacturing difference between some of the auto batts. Two of the ones that I have (a black and a green) have the normal 3 small holes. But the platinum has much larger holes, although they are cut off about halfway before reaching the inside of the batt. All I can say is I LOVE the draw I get on it - absolutely perfect. It may be a little too airy for some people, though. But this is coming from someone who only loves manuals, so that tells you something. Great draw and awesome vapor!
What I'd like to know is, why the manufacturing difference, if they are coming from the same manufacturer? That is the only batt that I have that has that style of holes.

We increased the airflow on the newest order of shorties, and it does produce more vapor that way, and we think it will help the battery lifespan as well. Some people have liked the easier draw, some haven't.

We may have gone a bit too far in that direction, and it does work better for the manuals than the autos, so we're decreasing the airflow slightly on the regular length auto batts in production now, but they will still be lighter draw than the older ones.
