How many years WERE you a analog smoker?

Just wanted to do a poll and see how many years have you smoked analogs before you went to vapeing..And what age did you start smoking?

I have been an analog smoker since I was 14, have a older cousin that bought them for me and his sister/my cousin.So that makes it 15 years, but I dont think I started to "really" enhale till I was around 15/16.

I began at 13, so almost 25 years. I too had a cousin bring me analogs. I practiced at a mirror until I could finally inhale. I thought I was so cool back then =( Just thankful I am not smoking any longer. Will be even happier when I am down to zero nicotine.

O.K. - I started when I was twelve ( with a reject pipe and a tin of Malvern Mixture). I'm nearly 49 - do I get a prize? (I should add that it's about a day away from my not having smoked baccy for a whole year - hoorah! And that wasn't my intention when I started vaping...).

I smoked 14yrs. Pack a day unless I was drinking/partying then sometimes three or four packs a day. Since I've had my 510, I've smoked three analogs. All in the same night, and after my battery and spare died. Boy did I feel that in the morning, whoa.

What's really sickening to think about is seeing those number in my sig. 5,320 cigarettes avoided and that's just in 9 months. I don't even want to know how many I smoked in the last 30 years. With all the crap that's in cigarettes it's hard to believe any of us are still alive smoking that many for that long.

Oh, I honestly don't remember. I smoked rarely in my teens, I probably really started smoking daily maybe four or five years ago? Now I just quit with my 510.
