How much did you spend when you first started?

I am almost two months in, and for two people, three units each, (eGo and E-Power) I have spent $478.51 (waiting on two orders that I made yesterday included in this total). Considering I would have spent $640 on analogs during the same time and have only spent $55.00 on analogs while getting everything right, I am still saving money and most importantly our lungs!
Not even a week in and I'm up to $300 now 
. I ordered the Inferno a couple of days ago because I'm a heavy vapor (I guess?) and the battery life was irking me at work. My guy is a light vapor and so he's getting my Magma (he's using the IncrediSmoke batteries his mom got him with my Volcano atomizers and juice). I also ordered both of us juice, a tank, blank tanks for the atomizer we have, a carrying case for him, and 3 bottle tops with the needle so we don't have to use a syringe (LOVE them) and we don't drip. Mostly backup stuff except for the Inferno. Plenty of juice on the way!

About two months in, and counting what I've sold off, and also spent on diy mods I'm about 1200 in. I currently have at my disposal a Maxi Roughstack (18650, 18350x2, and 16340x2), 2 Ego 650 mAHs, ePower 14650, 14500 box, 14650x2 VV box, 14500 flashlight mod, 10440 stealth box, a handfull of cases, tons of cartos, drip tips, and juice. I've bought and sold off a safe cig micro, safe cig original, and V2...it's been a pretty crazy/fun 2 months.
My first purchase was a Joye 510 kit for $30, a couple bottles of juice for $15, a couple extra atties for $14......2 weeks later, 3 eGo kits for $90 and more juice for $150ish. Stayed there for about 2 weeks and found out what mods were....my bank account went downhill from there. Only thing I can tell you is, I've spent more on vaping than I did smoking and I was a 4 PAD smoker. I've been vaping for 18 months now.
I spent about $100 to get my Smoov kit, juice and eCig case to start.
5 months, 2 weeks and 3 days later, I have saved $2,263.65 from not buying smokes. I use the Quitter app to track these numbers.
Now the real question is what have I spent on vaping in total, somewhere between $1,600-1,800 so far. My single goal is to spend less than what smoking cost and that results in savings!
Vaping is my new hobby and as a hobby one must spend some cash!

Can't seem to stop myself....I'm about $40 over what my siggie thingie says I'd have spent on analogs. Waiting impatiently on the mailman, every damned day! and lovin' it. Lots of "Christmasses" this year.

Vaporus V3 couples start kit came to $82 shipped, plus maybe $40 in juice so far.
Two of switched to e-cigs 2 weeks ago, so:
1 pack a day * 14 days * ~$12/pack * 2 people = $336 (give or take a few bucks)
So we're quite jazzed about this whole thing now. I wish I had found out about this sooner!

Started off with cig2o batteries and catromizers from the store. I bought three mini kits for $20/ea that come with battery, usb charger, and 2 cartos. I wanted to only buy two, but I accidently threw away one when I was cleaning out my car.
Spent $311 this week on a Provari with 18650 cap, charger, two batteries, 4 atomizers, 10 blank carts, couple drip tips, and 2x30mL juice. It should come in the mail tomorrow. Shouldn't have to spend much more on setup beyond atties and juice.

About 3 years ago for my first mini cig,cartridges, and liquid i paid nearly 180$. But, after 2 months i went back to analogs. So,now ive been vaping for 4 months and i realy njoyit. In 4 month i paid for:

Getting ready to do that tomorrow-my question is,how long does a bottle of liquid last? I smoke a bit over a pk a day and am getting 24 mg strength. Should I order more juice?
YES. You may not like what comes with your kit. It may be too strong. You will want a flavor to switch out during the day. 24 might be ok for you during the day, but too strong at night.... Etc.
Like dlsw said, you may not like what juice you get. I got mine in person and tasted 2 or 3 juices before choosing, BUT I was vaping more than I thought I should so I went back and got full flavor (which is 16mg at the place I got it) instead of 8mg which they have labeled as light even though I smoked light cigarettes. Between my guy and I both vaping, we have 4 bottles of juice floating around and haven't used a full bottle yet with both of us using it for 5 or 6 days. Plan on getting more juice right off, anyway. It's all about preference and your personal craving, really. Good luck!!

I know I have spent quite a lot of money but I needed to get rid of a really bad cough, it is now almost gone but I am struggling to give up on the 2 analogs I still smoke each day. I have a few still left in the pack and I have promised myself that when they are gone that's it.

YIKES! For one person? Is there anything you don' have?
Here is a classic example to all the new vapers, bmwjen and I startd at about the same time according to our sigs, bmwjen spent 9k and I spent a little over 1k in the first year. We both achieved the same thing...CIG FREE! I personally was at a point when I first started that I would have spent every last dime I had just to get off cigarettes. Luckily that wasn't necessary........
an absolute fortune, but my bank balance is higher at the end of the month than what it was when i smoked, so i figure, im doing ok really!
