Been at this vaping about 3 weeks with no regrets, but as a 20 year smoker (about 1 and 1/2 packs a day avg), there were times when I simply smoked too many cigarettes in a row, basically making myself a bit shaky.

What about vaping? At what point is it too much? Has anyone hit that point yet?

I mean, you KNOW when you chainsmoke 5 cigs in row....what about just sitting around vaping?

Never too much !

Seriously though. I begged a supplier that I was buying flavoring from to sell me Nicotine. He shot me a price that was insanely cheap, so I bought a gallon. It was supposed to be 60mg/ml. I mixed up a batch and it tasted horrible. I hand it to my wife and she says the same thing: WTF!!!! Then we both get hit with a migrane, and just generally felt poisoned for hours. I emailed the supplier and asked him WTF. He said sorry, I think it was mixed at 100mg/ml instead of 60. Well, I got the cheapest gallon of 100mg/ml nicotine anyone has ever bought, just had to poison myself and my wife. lol

Starting out I was chain vaping 30-36mg to kill the craving. 1 1/2 pad 35+ year habit, of strong cigs.
Slowed down since, as I adjusted to vaping. You're going to be absorbing the nicotine slower with
your PV than a cig, and your body will sometime scream I WANT IT NOW.

I've cut back to about 26mg average, and vape less often, but more constantly than I used to smoke.
If that makes sense to you. It's the difference between sipping on a beer for an hour, and taking a
straight shot of scotch once an hour. Same amount of alcohol in each, delivered differently.

Has anyone ever died while vaping?

I'm sure the FDA will find at least one person.

PVs been out since 2004. Still not a single lawsuit about someone getting sick or screwed up in any form or fasion from e-cigs. Maybe a sore throat, but i'm not sure how much you would get in court for that.

I haven't yet found in the library how much nic is usually in an analog...and how that equates to mg nic/day for analogs vs. for vaping (for example, I've started with 24 mg strength). If someone can point me to the right place for that info, I'd appreciate it.

Some studies have shown we may be absorbing as little as 10% of the nicotine from vaping.
And some here find flaws in those studies and think they may be getting as much as 40% of the nicotine from vaping.

So, for example...

Let's say you're using 18mg strength liquid, which is 18mg of nicotine per milliliter.
If using 3ml per day of 18mg strength liquid, you would theoretically be getting 54mg per day assuming 100% absorbption.

But taking absorption rates into account you will only be getting anywhere from 5.4mg to 21.6mg of nicotine per day.

And that would equal anywhere from about 5 to 43 cigarettes.
Because The amount of nicotine absorbed from real cigarettes is anywhere from 0.5mg to 1.1mg, and some are even more.

So really it all depends on which cigarettes we are talking about, and how much we really absorb from vaping.

I don't think you could really hurt yourself by vaping 24mg or less. However, if I drip continuously for a long time and take really big drags I can reach a moment of Zen, that is, feeling a little too calm, perhaps lethargic. Heh. I just lay off for 10 minutes. I have never felt that way with a regular E-cig.

Damn! I just spilled some tea into my keyboard. But still seems to work OK, dldslka sdl;asdf 9pwe.
