My LEDs work now!!!!
So I followed the instructions given for testing the LEDs. They lit with the meter using what I had wired them for in regard to positive & negative-which was just as the puck had described. So I couldn't figure out why they weren't working. I decided to try changing the resistors.
Back when I bought my parts, it wasn't specified what wattage to get for the resistors. They had 1/4 watt and 1/2 watt. I asked the puck about it back on page 25 and he said it didn't matter and I could use the smaller one. Well dummy me used the 1/2 watt and apparently size does matter! I replaced them with the 1/4 watt and .... let there be light!
So now BOTH pucks are FULLY FUNCTIONAL! and still
away! I'm so happy. And again-thanks to Stosh and all the other helpful folks in this thread. Couldn't have done it without you!
