I love nature,, after Ike took everything and while we were dragging everything out,, I ran across a seahorse looking critter in our house. (sadly dead),,,,,,,,he was tiny,, I kept thinking 'I bet he had big plans of crossing the Gulf'
We were the first people back to our neighborhood,, it was very quiet, like creepy quiet.. as we approached the front door a squirrel came down the tree and looked at us,, then he made a noise,, it was like he was announcing 'the humans are back!' and then suddenly you could hear frogs and other critters.
So we had to live in a storage room off the garage,,,,,but I still had to travel to the partial kitchen every morning to make coffee and have a cig,, this fat raccoon started showing up.. I would feed him cat food and talk to him.........his name was Rocky. This drove my husband crazy,, he would always say 'you dont know if he has rabies',,,,,,,,I would always say,, if he had rabies he would have shown signs by now,, and all he needs is a ba
throbe at this point..............hubby not humored......I miss Rocky.
my point is,, find some positive moments,, because you will lean on some of those moments sometimes.
