Here is a photo of a 6 wrap 3mm ID 0.54Ω 26ss /36ss clapton I installed in the Flave rda this morning. The 26ss /36ss clapton wire is just a tad thicker (with the 36g wrap) than 26g kanthal and really easy to work with. The photo is after most of today squonking on it. IMO clapton's bring the flavor in spades.

I'm totally sold on clapton wire.

Next refill on my Project X I'll have to pop up a photo of the smaller gauge MTL clapton. I was going to post a photo of it yesterday but it turned out blurry.
Beautiful build!

Ok, I was looking at my build photo's and I do have a decent photo of the Project X with a clapton. I had the decks confused with the Hussar v1 rda and that is the blurry one... silly me.
    IMG_0935cr.jpg

It's a twisted fused clapton 32gx3/40g ss316L from AVS and the wire is a tad thicker than 28g round wire. It is easy to work with and not super thin wire. The coil retains its shape when inserting my wick. My wick is Cottonman's Mavaton's Select Gold cotton with the natural oils removed. I use both rayon and cotton.

The coil is a 7 wrap 2.5ID at 0.7Ω and the flavor I get with it in the Project X is awesome. Very different than round wire and totally ups the flavor many notches. The one I mentioned the other day is from the Hussar v1 RDA deck, sorry. They are similar decks.

@AngeNZ if you can get that wire I think you would really like it. Big time. ;) Enabling with another photo hahaha, gotcha!!! Payback...

Also from Hussar's YT page... the assembly/parts for the X.

And Project X parts spread out from the end of the above video...
    Hussar Project X PARTS.png

12 total o-rings including the DT. BTW the drip tip o-ring size is 6x1mm.

Edit to add: @Nailz on Hussar's YT page they have a video for an alternate cap. Per the TC part you mentioned.

I ordered some today from FT Coilology Mtl fused clapton wire :D- could only get crappy pre-built mtl clapton coils locally. I especially love how you can easily count the wraps of clapton wire  I count wraps when I'm making a coil, but so many times I get distracted and lose count. I don't wear reading glasses or normal glasses. But I think it's time I wore my sexy purple +1.00's for building ;)

Awesome!!! I hope you like it.
I take my glasses off for all building/wicking so I can see closeup. Probably means I need some +1.00's or better.

    Sexy purple +1.00's...

I've noticed a couple more versions have come out. FT have this one:

SXK Hussar Project X Styled MTL RTA

But Efun.top and Everzon are listing an Sxk version that isn't the mtl version:

SXK Hussar Project X Style RTA

Not sure if it really is the 3 hole X or the 1 hole MTL X - but it s good to see more options coming out.

I was a complete twit this morning ;)

I'm sharing so no one follows my awesome example

I was checking the deck of my X, stuck the tank down, and heard a dripping sound, Ignored it, stuck the tank back on - I had a flooded deck. Cleared out my airflow holes, eventually, and vaped for a bit - to make sure it wasn't going to flood again. All was good. I then noticed my previously full tank was nearly empty.

I thought what the :censored:, went and got the juice bottle, looked at the bench, and I had a huge puddle, where I'd previously put the tank.

And yes, I'd put an upright RTA tank down on the bench, with the jfc fully on, and no deck under it  - usually I put it down UPSIDEDOWN which is a much better option ;)

Replacement Project X o-rings from the O-ring Store came today (4 days = fast shipping).
Do o-rings qualify as shiny items? Right, probably not. o_O But they are shiny...
    IMG_0986cr.jpg
The o-rings in the two ziplock's in the upper left are what came with the Project X. I compared some to those to the ones from the o-ring store and had a hearty laugh. The o-rings that came with the X are pretty cheap versus decent ones IMO.

I've had the ones that came with the Project X laying flat. As seen in the photo a few janky ones have not gone back to proper o-ring shape. :nah:

I'm going to swap them all out on my next rewicking. Except the one under the positive insulator.
Only because I don't want to pop in another clapton so soon. ;) That one can wait awhile.

Wow that was fast! I have all your information saved. For now all my orings that came with my X is fine except I still find pulling off the top cap to refill still a pain. It’s hard to pull off as there’s really nothing to hold onto.

Actually I’m vaping Heartsdelight Apple Cream Cake by wllmc in my X.

Heartsdelight, have you tried putting some VG around the 2 o-rings above and below fill port?
Maybe that might help with getting it off/on.
These 2 o-rings under the TC...
    9685515.jpg

Also if those 2 o-rings tolerances are looser than should be that may be why you are having difficulty. Perhaps change those o-rings and see how it is then (something to try).
My top cap is not too tight nor too loose.

I'm loving Heartsdelight Apple Cream Cake and have it in a Prime. It's totally awesome!
Very happy I made a second batch too.
I have a caramel ice cream juice in the X and it is soooo rich and tasty with the clapton.

Thanks for the LV info. :thumb: I ordered more wire too. ;)
