I meant the hussar, Coppervape hussar clone, seems like they put the threading down too far om top or something bc on my authentic you just crank it down all the way and the jfc turns open/closed smoothly. Also the fill hole seems a bit wider to fit in those glass droppers.

The wobbly top peice on the skyline doesn't start to happen unless it gets really wet with juice, otherwise it's pretty solid.

One thing I really wish though on the skyline is that they made those inserts out of SS, maybe with an o-ring halfway down to seal it if necessary bc I swear I can taste it Idk if it has to do w/ all the air passing through it or how close it is to the coil but it has a weird plasticky taste that the original deck didn't have.

T for Texas!
I tried a Coppervape clone all put together a few days ago & it was pretty good but the one thing I didn't like was the jfc, on the authentic I just crank the top peice all the way down and the jfc still turns smoothly, on the clone it has to be loosened for it to turn
Word on that... the JFC on my clone takes a lot more work than I like.

Yeah I'd bet slightly smaller o-rings would take care of it, I never bothered since I don't use it anyway. That was the only thing I did with the skyline, tank o-rings were a bit on the tight side, went down a size on them, of the few glass tanks I've broken over the years tight o-rings were the culprit 99% of the time.

I ordered a Sky Line Clone from Copper Vapes this morning, on FB
It has a glass tank! the RTA was 19$ plus .80$ for spare Glass & 5$ for all 8 spare air flow plug options, could have bought any of the three separate, but I wanted all of it :)
All US dollar. They charged me 10$ for shipping :( could have been worse.
I'm sure, If I waited & ordered from FT, they would have not had every thing in stock all at once. So I'm happy with the purchase :)
It looks good :) I like the off set posts, makes for an easy build deck :)
The multiple air options is nice to. I'm hoping the build quality is good just like the Hussar?

I don't use super high VG. but, I use 70/30 and it wicks NO prob...
60/40 here wicks like a dream!
IMO wicking may have to be adjusted for the viscosity of the juice You use! But to say a certain tank is not good for a certain viscosity, Sounds like improper wicking to me.

Hussar... After trying many configuration ... I assume that Hussar is not suitable for high VG juice.. somehow... The juice channel it seem to small and not enough feed my wick... Any suggestions here? I taste mute flavor or burn wick tasted. Its time to move to Skyline?
My hussar actually wicks much better than my skyline. Also skyline takes very long wicks, hussar extremely short and there's always juice on demand in the little wells.

I always use rayon though if I'm using high vg, it's the best wick material for it.

40/60 (w PG being the 1st number as it should be :)) and wicks perfectly.

With JFC I have to agree, its usually a wicking issue and not a tank issue.

I guess it makes a difference where one learns it from, but I have always used PG/VG, and I write mine like 80/20 PG dominate (so everyone knows what the first number is for) solution and it wicks Fantastic (of course).
