Oh no!! Now the gold base for the lead screws fell out. I think this is way above my skill level.

I think you can do it :)
I screwed the pin into the 510 screw by hand, then screwed in the deck base, finally tightened the 510 screw with a screw driver.
The pin holds the positive deck post in place, just hold it with your finger till the pin is screwed in :)
Hope you can get it.

Which one is the 510 screw? Is it the one on the underside of the base that screws into the mod?

I took the smaller pin out and now am trying to put the original pin in. Is the gold one the positive deck post?

Yes & yes
The videos posted is helpful :)
It shows the pin all ready screwed into the deck.
The pin holds the positive post in place on the deck.
Just hold the positive post in place screw the pin into the bottom of the deck, then screw in the deck & tighten the screw in the 510 :)

Thank you very much! I went back to using the original pin, and I got the positive post back in place and secured. Then, I wrapped a new coil, but the ohm meter said it is 0.01 ohms or something crazy like that. I am so flustered at this point, I think I need to put this aside for a few days. I'll watch the video and come back to this when I'm able to think more clearly.

Thanks again Steamer!

It sounds like you may have missed one of the insulators?
This is what the whole deck with the pin & the 510 screw, along with all the o ring & insulator should look like.
At this point all that needs to be done is screw the deck back into the base.
Also there should be an insulator under the positive post on the deck.
The one held by the pin :)

This should help a lot. Thank you. I don't think I've got an insulator under the positive post. Does thislook like the white piece above the o-ring near the bottom of the pin in your photo?

Yes similar, same type of material. maybe just a bit flater & moulded to fit under the post.
Between the deck and the positive post.

I have received my hussar. And yes the build is a learning curve. I am noticed that the length of cotton is quiet short. It must be cut very precision or it will to long and packing to tight on juice channel. I found 0.68 ohm khantal 26G with 2,5mm dim is the best for me with 2mm pin. And oh yes, I am changing the O ring on the tube with spare from other atty I have and now the juice flow are working flawesly (before its a bit stuffed). You must change both of o ring, the upper top cap and the bottom on chamber to make tube move freely. The original O ring its seem have a bad quality and its to large.
