That's exactly what popped into my mind. But, then why would he sell it so publicly in the classies? Maybe he just wanted to give them away to someone who would appreciate them and is rich enough not to need the money.



I mostly use 2 ohm SC XL 2-hole pre-punched cartos. Although DC will do also. And, my new IBTank that just came in the mail (thanks to the classies and TheDigital99) is standard size.

But, it just occurred to me that I have several 1-hole pre-punched that I had bought last summer to be prepared for my tank cartos flooding in the 100 degree heat. I do have a carto-punch that I haven't tried yet. So, I should be able to punch a second hole in those.

At worst, I'll butcher the job and have to fill them the slow, old-fashioned way of slowly dripping in the top (instead of using the miraculous Thingy). At best, I'll finally get good at punching cartos and start saving money by not buying the pre-punched anymore.

Speaking of pre-punched cartos, when I bought my original IBTank in the classies, it came with 4 boxes of Ikenvape cartos. Two of the boxes I could use. But, the other 2 were LR Mega Platinum Punch cartos which happen to be better suited to high VG juices because the holes are bigger. I use about 75-80% PG. I tried a couple of them to see if I could make them work. No luck.

Could you use them? Do you use high VG juice?

Ok, Care package stuff is ready,
2 IBT 19mm XL tanks, stainless caps, with thingy's (I have lots of those thingy's I don't use, I have standard ones if you need one)
10 F16 LR 2 hole flanged cartos (some have read down to 1.5Ω, but most I used were 1.7Ω/1.8Ω)
10 LR un-punched cartos (No idea on the Ω)
10 (Smok) DCT-2 dual coil 1 hole flanged cartos, 2.0Ω. (I don't like the dual coil)
Not sure when I'll get it out, very busy at work right now, but have it setting all together on my vape self for you.

Don't know on the Ikenvape as I never used them, but right now all I am using is the Sophia and By Leo tanks, so see if someone might want them when you list stuff in the classies. Ikenvape is very popular and sometimes hard to get.

It's this one. Instructions are vague with no pictures and includes warnings about what NOT to do. Google and YouTube are my friends. It's time I learned this.

No Problem. I only have one of each in 22mm, but I have never used them, so will send them also. I tried when I got my first tank, but went back to the old drip, drip, drip method.

I got a bullet punch when my simple round one stripped the threads, much better punch. When I was punching carto's, I would open a whole box and punch them all at once, easier for me.

If I get off at a reasonable hour today I'll get them packaged up and try to get to the PO tomorrow, if not it will be Monday as the PO is closed here on Saturday. I should still have your address info in my PM's, if not I'll let you know.

Success! I just punched my first carto, and it works!

It looked all complicated. I had chosen to buy the bullet punch because it seemed the least likely of all the styles to distort the shape of the carto (and therefore tear up the carto-tank o-rings). The bullet punch is really designed for punching holes and creating a connection in refrigeration lines. So, there's extra parts for different sizes of pipes, plus a valve that would be needed for refrigeration lines.

Neither of these things have anything to do with punching cartos. So, they can be ignored. Voila! Nothing much to it!

Success! I just punched my first carto, and it works!

The bullet punch does a LOT better hole than the round cheap punch. The round one would always dent before it punched, sometimes hard to get carto in the tank, but the bullet does a nice clean hole without much bend at all. I also learned on the IBTanked w/stainless caps, punch the hole a little lower (couple of mm) so you can get more juice out of the tank.

I must stay completely off the internet because every time I get on, I'm buying. At first, I think it was monthly or every other - then these past 4 or 5 months, it's been maybe every 2 or 3 weeks. Well now, it's been every 3 to 5 days.
I'm stalking the mailman today for a blue iStick and last night I ordered a bunch of ceramic and acrylic drip tips. Last week, I ordered drip tips (I'm in drip tip mode again because I broke 2 within a week from a weak pocket in my jacket and one of them was the green one you liked and I liked also). Oh, and along with the tips, I ordered a pretty nice display stand for them. Never had one of those. I've always just kept them all in plastic pouches for whenever I needed them. I've been just spending like I have it but it's so much fun and we all have to have a hobbie of some sort. Have a nice day.

Don't get a Diver or a Killer, I have both, collecting dust, just don't wick right, IF I ever get some free time I'll play with them again. And this was just a LUCK thing on the Sophia, they normally go quick in the classies, the one I got was sold in less than a hour.

Good to know about the Killer. I almost bought one once. I hesitated because I couldn't get any advice about it, then it was gone. Looks like I lucked out on missing that sale! There's someone on the Old Folks threads that has both the Diver and Diver2. So, I already knew about that one.

I used to. But, after having my card info stolen and having to get a new one, not anymore. It's probably for the best.
