I don't want to be called a member of the language police
But : a person who vapes is a what?
I have seen the term vaper used a bit, but wouldn't the correct term be vaporer
and yes I know this is a pendantic topic.

Were you a smokerer? ;)

BTW, I had to look up "pendantic". Nice one!

My mancave
i vape
i have vaped
i enjoy vaping

therefor i am a vaporist
I like it too. Or perhaps a bit shorter, even. "Vapist".

I know - it's not new. It's been used several places already. But I like it, too. Vaporist. Vapist.

OK, nah. I think I like "vaporist" better after all. It sounds professional. Slightly artsy, but only a little. And if I had never heard of vaping, "vapist" might sound to me like some new kind of criminal.

"Police have just arrested the suspected perpetrators. They are believed to be two larcenists and a vapist." :?:

I say "vaper" too. My problem is what to call my device. I don't like the term "e-cigarette" and vaporizer sounds odd to me.
How about a "VD". Vaping device.

"Hey ladies. Would either of you like to share my VD?"

:pervy:

I don't mean to be pedantic about... but you did mean pedantic instead of pendantic (sic) regarding what is a perpetual - and somewhat pointless - poser? Throw that one in the way back machine please. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/1153-what-should-we-call-thing-we-do.html?highlight=thing+we+do Like this one hasn't been around the block before...

and if you have multiple personalities then the plural "vapii" (e.g. the Winklevii) would be the correct term to describe you. of course that's assuming your other personality vapes as well.

vapii may also apply to royalty who refer to themselves in the third person.

all my personalities are also vaporists ... so we are all vapii ? the short "a" pronunciation (correct) sounds a little odd to all of us.....

I am a vaporista. Against my will on this forum I addopted a word 'vaper' to write "go with the herd" posts, but I always think of us as vaporistas.

well personally i like that term but i'm pretty sure a certain percentage of guys around here don't cotton to that word. especially when showing off their mech mods to their friends in the same breath as they talk about their cars and guns.

i fancy myself a vapist.

the wife has been checking out some one on one cereal flavors. we've dubbed her the cereal vapist.

i have a preorder in for an RDA that comes numbered. i'm soon to be a serial vapist.
Love the joke, but if cereal flavors exist I must know where she is getting them from.
