I actually come back here looking to see if there are any advancements in cigalikes but get drawn the Provari threads.

(Provape Shill)

oh god why? those things are horrid. And so not classy. They look like those obsolete combustion cigarettes. why would anyone want that? Seriously though, the newish njoy king aren't bad if disposable are your thing. other than for those in-a-pinch moments though, I wouldn't bother. battery technology just isn't there yet

I want something I can use hands free at times that is better than what already exists. I know someone will eventually make a boosted automatic cigalike. Someone is doing a boosted manual now but the manual means it is not hands free.

I am not going to disposable route, I am not really that worried about the look, no one will see me using it.

Actually the battery technology is there as long as you use high drain batteries. I only know of two companies using high drain batteries in a cigalike. All a company needs to do is get the best battery they can find in the size class, add a fixed boost, and an auto switch. The best I have found so far are the V4L Titans. I was unhappy with the eRoll. Mig's cigs has a boosted manual but that will not work for a hands free device.

At this time the only things I use are Provari, V4L Titans, and a Zeus. Provari is the only thing I am 100% satisfied with but there are times where it is too heavy and it is not hands free capable.

boosting IMR batteries that tiny? youll get about 5 hits before its dead. and still only have a 2 amp limit, if that. Like I said battery tech isn't there. Might be possible with supercapacitors, a boost chip and a pcc for charging between "smoke break" length vape sessions

Have you tried Bloogs? I loved my Bloogs!! (til I killed them all) They are really small and last remarkably long for such small batteries... but no, you aren't going to get a Provari vape out of anything that small.

So you want one you can just stick in your mouth and vape? Like the old days when you could just stick a cig in your mouth and have your hands free...I haven't thought of that to much since I started vaping but hands free is actually very desirable..

Mig's cig already has a mild boost.

V4L titans can sustain 4.0v for an hour on a 65mm battery.

It would never be carried at the only device, just used when both hands are needed for something else. That is how I am using the Titans now. The Mig's are in direct drive mode at the start and are boosted to 4.2 to keep things flat.

V4L Titans are commonly used with 1.5 ohm devices.

I have tried everything. The Bloogs are not using a high drain battery. The V4L Titan stomps all over the Bloog. You can tell the difference very fast, the difference is very noticeable.

I know I am not going to get a Provari vape from one. I only use a cigalike when I want hands free. I am waiting for an automatic that is doing what Migs is doing.

When I head out I have either a Provari or Zeus in my pocket depending what I plan on doing. I also stick 3 V4L Titans in my pocket for when I want hands free.

assuming those mig cig run down to 3.3 before cutoff, are reasonably efficient, and using a 2.0 ohm atomizer, you'll be pulling nearly 3 amp out of that cigalike battery. Assuming it has a 2-3 c rating like most ICR (and I'll almost guarantee its an ICR) youre looking at a max safe pulse discharge of 1.5 amp. Sounds like a bad scene to me. At least they're small batteries

Now a provari on the other hand, would be safe. It has nine hundred million safety things and makes better voltage than anything else on the market

I will have to find it again but if I remember right the Titans are cutting off at 3.7, also I think these batteries are rated at 3 amps, they are one of the most expensive cigalike batteries out there. Here is a link on some tests. The part that I do remember is they have the same amp limit as an eGo but of course the eGo is larger but is not a high drain cell.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...apor-titan-king-diamond-tech-info-review.html

I am going to ask for some data on the Migs, I am going to assume those batteries are cutting off when internally they are at 3.7

I already have a Provari. I was going back to analogs during those times I wanted go hands free. The V4L Titans are keeping me off of analogs during those times but I still want a bit more punch. I want to see someone match the Migs in an automatic.

Had a boss once at a hardware store who used to lean over while working and let his burning cigarette dangle from his lower lip, held there only by some gummy half-dried spit.

Bet no e-cig can do that.

Nope, but I can still hold one. All I need is 15 minutes runtime at each use. I am getting more than that but I want a bit more than I am getting in performance.

I bet the ProVari can!

That is the one thing a Provari cannot do. That is why I have spent more looking for the best cigalike than I did on all the Provri's.

I bought two Provari's today. Doesn't matter what anyone says - I love them. I know people love thief own devices more. I just don't care to bash or pick apart someone that has something different. Whatever makes you happy. I'm not a Provari freak...I just happen to love mine. Couldn't care less if people are haters because off that
