Me too....I don't know who the hell is channeling through me when I write this stuff.;) Norm Crosby or Wm F. Buckley....

All I know is that there were (are?) plenty of typos....

In regards to the "head in the sand" comment. I think you nailed it. I too have called others out on the fear mongering stuff. In fact one poster a supplier basically stated that "shipments are going to be seized and just by luck I have plenty of juice for sale".

Wasn't it Bing Crosby and Bob Hope in "Slow Boat to China"... or was that Abbot and Costello?

The stuff on those containers were probably at sea for a couple of months before they hit customs at the port. Customs at the port is more stringent than the airports (so far). A lot of up-front paperwork has to pass muster. I'm not saying contraband can't get in via corruption or phoney paperwork with agents that are paid to look the other way. But what strikes me is:

This stuff is over 2 months old. Are they pre-improved versions? Are they sealed well enough to handle a salt-water environment? What temperature were they stored at? What would that do to batteries and atomizers? How fresh could the carts or liquid be? Were there two of every creature on board? Did any of them get into the boxes? Did anyone on board have the flu?

Well, I'd LIKE to say many things regarding that particular thread however I shall remain silent in the interest of allowing still fresh wounds to heal ;)

I know the FDA's talking head Rita made some comment about cracking down, so I don't know what to relate the delays to. You have brought up some reasonable and rational ones as well.

"Slow Boat to China"....Are you thinking of the "Road" pictures that Bing and Bob made in the 40's. I loved those!!! Bet if someone twisted my arm a bit, I could scrounge up a Youtube or something.:lol::lol:

(For those just joining...if you'll look at my post history...you will see many a link to Youtube.:D. Perhaps a source of irritation to some, but WTH...it's all fun to me.)

Don't know anything about a seizure but I do know that NJOY starter kits and 5pks of carts (reg, lite, Menthol) are available in every Pilot Truckstop in the country. Can't really recommend them. I bought 2 starter kits and the atty in one doesn't work. The prefilled carts aren't anything to write home about either.

I started with Njoy last year. They are EXTREMELY expensive. I don't care how many times I can send the atomizer back in a year.
And you're correct, those carts are selling anywhere from $19.95 - $24.95 per 5 cart box and there's NOTHING special in them.

Send that faulty atty back to them and let them replace it. You should have a year warranty. (Because the price you paid for those starter kits, was pre-payment for all the replacement.)

Of course, that's my experience and as usual, my opinion. Can't say that that applies ALL the time.

Thanks gep. I'm a long haul driver, I only go home about once every three months. Doing anything via mail is a real ..... for me. I want to order a better E-Cig and some juice but there is no one at the house to sign for it.:(
 Send it to me! Just kidding! (perhaps!)

Any chance you will be driving past one of the suppliers? perhaps they'll let you pick something up. Can't hurt to ask!

Lets get back on track here. I think it is unfair to accuse the OP of misleading information. Many suppliers are so reluctant to keep us informed about customs seizures in the first place. When one finally does they get accused of misinformation to drive up sales? You gotta be kidding me. Dealers are not having problems selling product. They are having problems getting product. Get your facts straight.
