oooo thanks I've read about that but would have forgotten. Page 48 has them summarised in a list :)

So, if for example there's an apple flavour on the list ("Green Apple"), then would you avoid putting any apple eliquids in an evod? I suppose if you have that mentality then almost nothing would go in an evod though.

Yes. Weaker "acidic" juices will begin to "glaze" the tank and eventually melt and/ or crack the tank. Here's a pic:

So much to learn...

You want to know something funny - I've been smoking these 10 motive supermarket e-cigs on and off for a few months trying to quit smoking, now is my longest stint of about 3 weeks. My mum was a 20 a day smoker for 30 years and she finally managed to quit with 10 motives around a year ago...and today she's still vaping 10 motives!

I told her the other day that there are much nicer e cigs available and she really wants to know but isn't the type of person that will research and do it herself. Next time I see her I'm taking some presents :) I can't wait to see her reaction after vaping these nasty 10 motives for a year lol

mmmmmmmmm first deliveries have arrived.

-Ego-C 640 dual voltage
-EVOD, Protank 2, Protank 2 mini
-Grizwald flavours

Vaping some black cat right now in an EVOD - it tastes soooo good!

A few questions:

1. The atomizers are packed individually and all of them have some liquid inside in the packaging?

2. Should I be cleaning the tanks before first use?

3. How low on juice can I let the tanks/atomizers go them go before refilling?

:D

Congrats  Some atomizers come with either PG or machine oil on them. When questioned the manufacturers said the oil was to keep them from rusting while in storage or being shipped but many of us believe it's just poor QC.
Compliments of a vet that gave me lottsa GREAT info when I began:
With normal atomizers (only kind I know) I do this

*blow out the atty into a tissue, prime by dripping 3 or so drops of liquid on atomizer bridge and wait for it to soak down to coil, then using a drip tip or empty cart vape that mostly off without inhaling. Repeat from *. Repeat from * again and try inhaling. (primer smells like machine oil - you should notice when it's gone)

Another method is to rinse the atty a lot with water, then shake out and blow out, dry, prime with liquid and let that soak down to coil, then use.

Obviously people with auto batteries or other unsealed batteries need to be extremely careful not to leak liquid on the end of the battery.

You're always welcome Flavorful.
2. Should I be cleaning the tanks before first use?
Yes seeing as they come from China I wash all my tanks with warm water. Heads I just drip 2 drops of juice on them and burn without inhaling.

3. How low on juice can I let the tanks/atomizers go them go before refilling?
With the tanks/ heads because you have bottom coil systems you can let it get quite low. Top coil tanks (which you don't have) need to wick the juice UP so I usually fill when it's 1/8 full. The wicks in both systems are silica and it's impossible to burn them in a PV cuz temps aren't high enuff. They will stain though from the juice flavoring.

Atomizer- 2-3 drops and good for a few vapes.

Just got my halo g6 and I can't say enough about I am a newbie to the vaping world but did lot of research before I ordered mine.

It small discreet with both a cartomizer and tank accessory available. It's a solid product and a great price just udern $60.00 for a starter kit (2 batts,5 prefilled carts, and an awesome case)

Thanks, so just to clarify - wash all the components of the tanks, dry them, add a few drops and burn it without inhaling...then I'm good to go?
Yes wash everything except the head- on the head drip a few drops on it, connect to battery and activate without inhaling.

Just cleaned an atomizer and tried it again, it tastes much better. Not too keen on the Grizwalds arctic cherry though, maybe needs to steep for a while.
Great  It may need to steep but hopefully you'll have some juice that you like. If you're liking the eGo 3.3/ 3.7 volt you're gonna LOVE the iTaste.

hehe yeh I've tried that already.

Just opened up the pro tanks and they're very smart pieces of kit. You're right though, the Protank 2 is a beast...doesn't quite match my ego lol

That's ok...my setup at home is very large and ugly but who cares. I can guarantee you'll be buying more tanks. Watch for Christmas Sales. Last yr bought 800 cartos for 1/2 price+ free shipping. Year before bought 4 eGo class 3.7 volts starter kits for $20 each- regular $45
