Vapoor eyes or, I hope you know you are always welcome to join AAE-C - there is a great social/community side to the forum as well :)

Mind you, I never want to take people away from here though, as ECF is the best :)

Flavourful, we do indeed have some excellent UK vendors with fantastic dispatch/delivery times - vape Escape being one of the very best.

Thank you kindly for the offer Chriissie but too overloaded as it is. Active on ECF, active on another forum all day long/ trading and am a Mod on another forum (4 mill+ members). Very, very touching offer and if one of the above ever becomes history I'll be there.

I ordered as much as I could from vape escape. Ordered at 2am Wednesday night and it was here this morning :D

Will certainly be using them again.

As you said Vapoor - vaping heaven :D

Black cat in my freshly cleaned Protank 2 is lovely. I'm about to clean all my other tanks.

Also worked out how to fix gargling when it happens :)

Btw, my protank 2 mini tank appears to be plastic and not glass!? It's the v2 with the removable drip tip.

I'm certain it's plastic, but it came fully sealed, just like the protank 2. From different suppliers though, I got the Protank 2 mini from here.

Kanger Protank Mini 2

Bit strange, it all looks authentic in terms of the box, instructions, build quality, etc.

It's the real thing and glass:
Kanger Tech Protank II Mini

Note: This item is the Protank 2 Mini - V2; with removable drip tip.

Ego Fitting, if you want to use this with a 510 Mod you will need an adapter available here

Capacity: 2.5ml
Length 74mm
Diameter 14mm

1 pyrex glass tube
1 bottom base
2 x 2.2ohm coil
1 replaceable metal drip tip

Hi guys, please forgive me but I've also posted this in the UK forum to get advice on products which I can easily get over here. I'd like a more general opinion too though.

I'm a newbie vaper and an expert at quitting cigs..lol. I know if I get a decent PV I'll be able to quit for good, but I need some advice on what to buy.

After doing some research I came across the Halo Triton, but the general opinion (in the thread I started in the new members forum) is that the Triton isn't a good idea due to the incompatibility with other products and the shipping costs to the UK.

I've read tanks are the way to go in terms of quality of vaping, amount of smoke, flavour and cost?

I would like to invest in the best PV possible and I don't mind spending a good amount of money...

What I'm looking for...

-Feels and looks like a quality product
-Is not too large to take out and easily fits in my pocket
-Has a few hundred puffs before recharging
-Produces lots of vapour
-Very reliable
-Never leaks
-Brings out the flavours in the liquids (I've read that some do this better than others?)

Desirable but not a necessity:

-Can connect cartomisers as well as tank for a more discreet look when I'm out
-Compatible with other e cig accessories

I'm not sure if I should consider a variable voltage PV, I assume these are for heavy vapers that want a stronger hit?

I don't really have a budget...

I'm open to any ideas!

Thanks for your help :)

Awesom post!!

heres my opinion

If you are looking for VV and VW, the BEST starting mod in my opinion has to be the VAMO, it its inexpensive and it is just a great mod,
i have had one for a year and i have to say it has never dissapointed me.

if you are looking for the best VV, VW mod, i would have to say that the provari is the best i have ever tried. its a bit pricey but it is worth the money, its well built, and fool proof.

if you are running VV or VW, get a Protank 2

If you are into mechanical mods for rebuildable setups, (which i highly siggest you get into) heres what i think would be great mods to try.

-the kamry k100 is an inexpensive mech that performs well. it is super durable, i droped mine down a flight of stairs and nothing went wrong. great mod, super reliable!

for (IMO) the best mech mod you can buy that should be available right now,.. GET A POLDIAC!!
i baught my poldiac a month ago, for about $230. THIS IS A QUALITY MOD THAT IS WORTH THE MONEY!! it looks extrememly nice and it is built nicer than anything i have ever seen. it has silver conections so it hits harder than anything out there (unless there is a mod with gold connections, highy unlikely). never had issues with it. it gets a LOT of complements.

throw any decent rebuildable on these mechs and it will work great, trident rba, ithaka, igo-w, etc.

Im sure many will dissagree with me but this is just my opinion, hop this helps!!

A couple issues I'm having which are really bugging me...

1. My Protank 2 is constantly gurgling, each time I take it apart there's juice in the central tube of the tank, and on the battery connection.

What I've done so far to try and fix it:

(a) Raise the post slightly off its seat (tube above the coil)
(b) Raise the rubber gasket (on the post) slightly before screwing it in
(c) Taking out 1 of the 2 flavour wicks

Thing is, I can't completely see how the tank works. When you have a puff, the airflow causes juice to get sucked onto the coil and flavour wicks, so then gurgling seems inevitable. Obviously this isn't correct though...

It happens every time I rebuild it and I've rebuilt it many times :( Every time I've fully cleared out the inner tubes. Any ideas?

Other problem:

2. I've got 2 EVOD tanks and when one of them works intermittently on the ITaste (it arrived today). I've noticed that the bottom part of this EVOD has slightly smaller protrusions which connect onto the battery (the 2 raised parts around the hole, see picture). I don't think it's making a good connection with the ITaste battery, but it does work fine on the EGO-C. Should I put this one down as defective and contact the supplier? It's a tricky one because it works on the EGO, but really it should be working fine on any battery...
