MistressNomad: Make the decorating video, pretty please! :)

I watched every one of your videos and they were fantastic. By far some of the finest videos I've seen. You speak well, show the product, explain things wonderfully and fill me with envy with your pretty, pretty ecig. You are a natural, and as someone pointed out upthread, your hands are lovely.

Thank you for making them and please make more, even if someone else needs to write the script.

That's funny....a twist to all the modding going on here......a decorating mod. I actually got several different colors of nail polish and marked some of my attys that were all the same color so I could tell them apart. Actually the rubber bands are better. (I got some little bitty hair bands that really are as small as the dental/braces bands MistressNomad discusses. They work great.) Several of us girls could probably come up with some pretty cool ideas....lol

WOW Mistress...thank you so much for all this info.
I'm amazed with all the knowledge you have and "translate" it in such a simple explanation for everyone to understand.
Thank you!

I have 5 KR808 passthroughs that I thought were dead.......I put them in a little alcohol for 15 minutes, as you suggested and....voila, 4 of them are working again!
One is really dead. LOL.

I still like to understand more about mixing my own juice.
Again, thank you, awesome job!

I'm confident you realized, even as you were keyboarding the thought, that you'll almost certainly never know the answer.

Having said that, it's an idea that certainly transcends your choice of PV. As you suggest, the essential trunk of your personality supports the visible foilage and the colors manifested. Perhaps the evergreens make do, are content with 510s & 901s while deciduous types are never satisfied, always see Nirvana waiting for them within the next, higher voltage, ever more outrageous mod.

Or not. There's too many factors, people are ultimately too complicated for the theory to contain everyone neatly. Ted Kazinsky--if you can overlook the multiple murderer thing for a moment--lived, by militant preference, a decidedly simple existence. But if his bomb designs indicate anything, he'd have been the ultimate modder.

I just can't top that :p

I think mistressnomad is right about more experienced vapors being happy with 3.7V than this forum would lead us to believe. Granted, im still relatively new to the game... I started out with a Joye 510 and a PT. A month later, just for mobility's sake i picked up a Riva. At the same time, for the sake of curiosity, i also picked up a 5V PT. That 5V PT stays in a drawer. 3.7V is the sweet spot for not only me, but also my parents, whom i turned onto vaping. My mother (who was a light smoker) says she actually gets a full day's use out of one standard 510 batt.

And, of course, congratulations on being stickied, mistress. So nice to see the face behind the posts.

Wow! Mistress, I'm so impressed! I've been out of town and had missed your debut, but do want to chime in with the congratulations on a job well done. You've done a great job keeping all of it simple and to the point. It's so easy to be completely overwhelmed by all of the vaping lingo, paraphernalia, and juice. You've managed to make it understandable and entertaining. Really, you did an impressive demonstration with these videos.

Thanks for the videos. They have been very helpful. I have been looking at every website, reading everything I can find on this forum for about 2 weeks and the more I read the more confused I was getting. I have been using disposible e-cigs that I found at smoke shops while trying to decide what to get. As expensive as those are (about $10 for 1 that lasts less than a day) I have continued smoking, alternating analogs with e-cigs, but really would prefer to give up the analogs completely. Can you give me any advice about the DSE901's? Do the batteries on them last longer than the Joye 510 or KR808D1 ? The analogs I smoke now are Capri 120's. They are really long, but they are also very thin, so something that has a flat tip cartridge is a lot more comfortable to me.

Thank you everyone!

Broseybrose - Yup, right with you. I've been very lucky, in that I've had a lot of opportunities to try stuff before buying. I randomly met a couple vapers before I ever got my first kit, and have since met up with some people from ECF.

I got to try the 5v thing. No way. I also got to tried an LR through PIF. Eh, not diggin' that either. It gets tucked away, and occasionally brought out for REALLY bad cravings. But I don't enjoy vaping it. It's basically a fix, and it's not very pleasant to me.

Hey Troussin!

The DSE 901 battery life is somewhat comparible to the 510's, so with my useage, 2-3 hours. The battery is quite short (similar to the 510 as well), but it has a long atomizer. And the flat tip carts are *very* cool indeed. It's the same width as the 510 and Kr8, which is slightly thicker than a cigarette. And the 901, again like the 510, runs at slightly lower voltage (3.2v) so it will be a cooler vape.

I personally enjoy 3.7v more, which is why I am happy using the 901 atomizer on the Kr8. But, some people really like the lower voltages. The Kr8 batteries are longer, so it does make it a little over 1cm longer than it normally would be.

The 901 kit is also affordable. FreedomSmokeUSA.com sells them for $45.

EDIT: So you know, you can use 901 atomizers on a Kr8 battery, but you CAN'T use Kr8 cartomizers on a 901 battery. At least, not without an adapter.

Thanks, I didn't know the 901 atomizer would work on the Kr8. I found a few sites that actually had flat tips for the 510, but not for the Kr8.

Yup, they make them for the 510 too. Either one is a great performer. But with the Kr8, the design of cartomizers kind of prohibits flat-tips. At least, it makes them harder to refill. But the battery life of the Kr8 is nice, which is the big reason I didn't feel a need to get 901 batteries. I don't mind the length of it.
