Just when I thought I'd gotten the hang of refilling my cartos and telling when it's the battery or carto needs replacing, I've come to the conclusion I must be doing something wrong.
When I refill, my Wow carts only take about 1/2 ml of juice. After that the juice comes up the central tube and I have to suck it back into the syringe. Am I right in thinking these carts should take 1ml of juice? If so, why am I only getting .5 ml in them?
I don't change carts until I get that icky taste - not burnt exactly but not nice. I find I usually have to change the cart when I switch to a fresh battery, the off taste usually kicks in immediately I switch.
When I fill, I use a syringe down one side, fill till the juice comes up the tube & overflows, then suck it back into the syringe until I can see light down the tube. If I try to add a bit more, the light is occluded, which tells me there's too much juice in there.
Any ideas as to what's happening here?
