Somebody wanna help a fogey out here? After being a way for a while, it was like being a newb all over again. I've figured out what most of these new fangled things are but what the hell is a hybrid mod? Is it just an unregulated but with wires like all the mods that existed when we started a la nicostick?

rba is integrated into the tube mod, all one piece, in the most basic terms. :)

That makes sense. I think it's also the answer to the sticking point on my current mod design.
Haha actually, I have a cabinet full plus 7 or 8 of the dang chargers! I'll PIF, or would a newbie even choose to start "there"?!
Probably a bit advanced for most newbies. I can see it now "I want to build dual .2 ohm coils on my new RBA, can somebody tell me how to use a multimeter? Can I use my laptop batteries in this?" I on the other hand, would be happy to take one off your hands, then I can finally PIF my egos

What a great read! No one has mentioned the turmoil deciding between an auto or manual...

As I searched earlier for info on the Kissbox, I came across this gem:

I took delivery off the janty yentl kissbox this morning, it's well packaged and I opted for one automatic and one manual battery with a selction of 25 "nr4" taste (high strength), 10 apple (high) and 15 chocolate (no nicotine)...

...the automatic battery is awesome, if maybe a little too sensitive, it seems you can almost blow on it and the battery will kick-in the atomizer but the draw is very, VERY smooth, i no longer feel my face is turning blue when sucking on it.

The manual battery is fairly good but the lack of an indicator light is a little dissapointing, I at least thought there would be something showing that the battery is working... however it works really nicely and I do get the feeling i'm getting most of the vapor as i can stop the atomizer a second or so before i stop inhaling, making sure i get it all.

...the other cig I had previously was a "mini cigarette dse103" which I purchased from e-bay (heaven gifts) and, while it did its job I was never really in love with it... I am, however in love with this product.

Awww, young love :)

I had the blue foam on my shopping list. I did try the tea bags to no avail. And, I do remember using the rubber grippers off my pens to put on LR cartos because they got so hot.

But, luckily I discovered dripping on a 306. I stuck with that for the longest time. When all else fails, drip!

I've still got my old 510s and some other stuff I don't use. About twice a year I charge them up. Between them and my spare 18650s and 14500s, I had no trouble surviving a 4-day blackout from Hurricane Sandy. I didn't have water, but I had vapor.

I still have a box of Fluval!

I bought giant, empty teabags. I think I cut up two before I learned to drip. A friend who likes making pots of tea just took them off my hands about a month ago.

A still have my Fluval, along with my 510 attys, 808 cartos, ego type-B attys, 901 attys, 801 attys, Go-Go cartos, CE-2's with 3 mL syringe mod, Pucks, dual coil cartos of all sizes....

I drag out an old atty to drip once in a while, and they work wonderfully on my current VV setup. :D

edit:
And I remember when DC2 would start a thread with what seemed a simple question and it would go on for many pages. Guess some things never change!!
