On the night of the first World vaping Day, the elders passed down the history of their journey, post by post, memory by memory, so all would know how far we have come. We are deeply grateful for the money they spent, the experiments they tried and the frustration they endured that cleared many obstacles from the path, so those who followed wouldn't stumble as many times. For this we are in their debt and thank them for their perseverance.

Maybe this will become a tradition. Each year on World vaping Day reviewing the accomplishments and milestones we have reached. Or perhaps we will just say "Arrrrgh!" and vape like pirates, since WVD has managed to be designated on the same day as Talk Like a Pirate Day, which isn't too bad when you consider almost every day on the calendar is taken and it might have easily fallen on Felt Hat Day, Hug A Greeting Card Writer Day, Elephant Appreciation Day or World Rabies Day. Pirates are way cooler.

As the vapor fades and monitors begin to dim the newbies fight to keep their eyes open, begging for more stories, but the night has passed and the sun will rise soon. There will be more stories another time...and perhaps, just perhaps, the elders will go beyond history and tell of the community's myths and legends...

This would actually be a very fun tradition. Better watch it Ocie, you'll be one of us fossils before ya know it.

I remember seeing an ad on the internet about 4 years ago for e-cigs and ordered them, it was a company called Green Smoke. I kept getting juice in my mouth and the flavors were yucky. I went back to smoking till 6/13. After seeing my sister at a family reunion with a mod from Mad Vapes I started doing some research and found ECF. This time I started with an eVod starter kit that came with 2 evod
650's, 2 top coil clearo's and 15ml of juice. Now I use an iTaste MVP, Davide mini bcc tanks that use kanger coils which I rebuild and DIY juice. ECF has been invaluable to me, I have found my sweet spot and I am a very happy vapor. Wonder where I will be next year? The only thing on my wish list is a Provari.

That's the one I ordered! My first kit! Almost exactly 4 years ago--December 2009...

I went looking for reviews and found ECF. The rest is history. :)

And yes, I got a mini ProVari, eventually. Nice mod. :D

I just can't help it... I'm so ...... because after reading this thread it finally came to me, HOW MUCH MONEY I WASTED, in my vaping journey to date!!!! Newbs have no idea how easy they have it today...

Not Wasted. Far from it.

Consider all that Money that you Spent on e-Liquids and e-Cigarette Hardware as a Stimulus to the Developing e-Cigarette Market.

I'm glad I started vaping this year. Wouldn't have had the patience to do it 4 years ago.

I do remember a few years back buying a pack of cigarettes and the store owner handed me this e cig and asked me to take a puff. I forget what they were selling for exactly (but was pricey). It tasted ok, but was weary of what the hell was in the liquid I was vaping.

I tried a blu disposable in the beginning of March 2013 and knew I could use this to quit eventually. That's when I came here to lurk for a week or so before I decided how I was going to do this. Glad I did. Feel so much better than I have in a very very long time.

Thanks veterans for paving the way guys/girls.
