I remember the Wet Box.
I remember Halo's marketing before they sold their first bottle.
I remember a tutorial on rebuilding Joye 510 atomizers. (And thinking my fingers would never be small enough to attempt that.)
I don't remember throwing my fillerless mod'ed cart's away, but I have no idea where they are, but I can find a sheet of pretreated blue foam pretty quickly.
I remember having a pocket full of standard 510 batteries on me and a PCC to make it through the day. Then the joy of when the Mega 510 was released. (Were the Mega's really 300 mAh?)
AHHHHHH the wetbox!!! I thought I was the shiz nit when I got one of those contraptions. Back when you could choose between getting a 510 or a KR808 connector on them!!
I remember the days before LR cartos, the blue foam/teabag mod, the invention of the REO, when the Darwin was considered the high end mod we all drooled over and waited in virtual lines for over a year to get. The crappy juices (I was forced to learn DIY pretty quickly). The first FDA court case and I remember running into the garage to tell my husband that vaping won that battle. The days before vari-volt, tanks and punches were yet to be discovered, we all carried juice bottles with us to fill our carto every 20 puffs. Crappy battery life. I remember what a revolutionary thing it was to have just an LR carto!! And there was so few stores to order from. NO B&M anywhere except for a few online stores that had store fronts. None were within 1000 miles of me. The EGO and the RIVA were the "big batts".
I agree with the numerous people that have posted here about this: if you cannot successfully quit smoking and find a vape option that works for you today, you probably just aren't ready to quit. Thousands of us did it on sub-par equipment that failed all the time. The options available now? Jeesh, it all but guarantees successful vaping.
