I remember the Wet Box.
I remember Halo's marketing before they sold their first bottle.
I remember a tutorial on rebuilding Joye 510 atomizers. (And thinking my fingers would never be small enough to attempt that.)
I don't remember throwing my fillerless mod'ed cart's away, but I have no idea where they are, but I can find a sheet of pretreated blue foam pretty quickly.
I remember having a pocket full of standard 510 batteries on me and a PCC to make it through the day. Then the joy of when the Mega 510 was released. (Were the Mega's really 300 mAh?)

AHHHHHH the wetbox!!! I thought I was the shiz nit when I got one of those contraptions. Back when you could choose between getting a 510 or a KR808 connector on them!!

I remember the days before LR cartos, the blue foam/teabag mod, the invention of the REO, when the Darwin was considered the high end mod we all drooled over and waited in virtual lines for over a year to get. The crappy juices (I was forced to learn DIY pretty quickly). The first FDA court case and I remember running into the garage to tell my husband that vaping won that battle. The days before vari-volt, tanks and punches were yet to be discovered, we all carried juice bottles with us to fill our carto every 20 puffs. Crappy battery life. I remember what a revolutionary thing it was to have just an LR carto!! And there was so few stores to order from. NO B&M anywhere except for a few online stores that had store fronts. None were within 1000 miles of me. The EGO and the RIVA were the "big batts".

I agree with the numerous people that have posted here about this: if you cannot successfully quit smoking and find a vape option that works for you today, you probably just aren't ready to quit. Thousands of us did it on sub-par equipment that failed all the time. The options available now? Jeesh, it all but guarantees successful vaping. :)

I remember when the best vaping videos on youtube were Leaford and his parrot talking about his favorite Ecigs and Epipes.

OMG...Leaford!!! He was awesome.

I also remember when carto caps were glued on. Trying to pry them off with a small tool and not snap them.

The Taryn spin If I recall correctly you put some juice in a carto then twirl it around in a sock. take the carto out fill it some more twirl it around some more, fill it up some more.... man I remember actually doing that. That fish tank stuff I remember now it was called fluval. I also remember taking about 100 of those little straws from the diner down the street from me to put in with the fluval, finally worked better after that. Ya vaping was really kind of a pain in the .... back then. I'm still amazed I made it 10 months without smoking back in 2010. I am so glad that it's much much easier now. This time I'm quit for good for sure. I sure appreciate that now we have batteries that last a day and a half of heavy vaping tanks/clearos that you fill once a day or even less in some cases and work pretty much flawlessly compared to 3 years ago.

PS - I am really glad someone mentioned CE-2s. I could not for the life of me remember what those little cartos that held about 1.2mls were. The were ceramic with no filler and you had to squeeze a skinny flimsy little plastic adapter you stuck on a syringe in that tiny little hole. I hated those things I broke like 4 or 5 of those off in that little hole. I seem to remember them having multiple little plastic seals or something and you had to take one out for them to work half way right or something silly like that.

Tyrin spin...wow I remember that. Even bought a pill bottle to do it with. Tied a string on it, got it whipping around really well, and broke out one of my living room windows with it....those were the days.

I still have a dent in my closet door from that V4L carto that got away...

I remember buying one of the first cigalikes from a guy in ECF, a Chinese guy who sold them straight from the company.

ecigarette%20m401_1.jpg

I remember hunting ECF to find instructions for soaking tobacco or [in my case] nicotine patches in VODKA to extract the nicotine.

I remember vaping this 'nicotine patch' nicotine in this cigalike and quit smoking completely.

I remember when I returned to the USA and I started smoking again

I remember when I returned to ECF = I'm back!

I remember thinking OMG! The options are MAGNIFICENT! Flavored juice! What the heck!!! The vape, the vape, the vape is UNBELIEVABLE NOW!
