Good lord! How many members were there when you joined -- twelve?

I think the Every Member on the ECF has a Member Number.

SJ =1, etc, etc, etc.

I asked Captain Tight Pants once what mine was and he told me I was the xxxxth member to Join the ECF. Of course, I promptly Forgot It.

If I read it right, Burnie (me) was 12913, dnakr was 23, the wiz was 3497, PTJD was 1360, Poeia was 24106, zoiDman was 34865, that is if I am correct, could be wrong.

Denrock, thanks for the video and link. It's so nice to know she's still alive and kicking!

I've still got my old 510s and some other stuff I don't use. About twice a year I charge them up. Between them and my spare 18650s and 14500s, I had no trouble surviving a 4-day blackout from Hurricane Sandy. I didn't have water, but I had vapor.
Once I found out that batteries will continue to lose their charge and eventually become unusable, I started doing that too. You don't realize how much old stuff you have until you pull it all out and line it up to be recharged.

In my defense, I do still use my old 510 and 801 batteries (and my old 3.7 V boxmod and RoughStack) - sometimes. So, I'm not just a pack rat. Really, I'm not.

BTW - I hope I am 34865.

Because 34865 is the Product of 3 Prime Numbers... 5 * 19 * 367

And 367 is one of my Favorite Prime Numbers.

I'm member #102486. Go under your profile page, about me tab, Contact line. The numbers at the end show what number you were assigned when you joined.

I just hover my mouse over your name and look at the link "members/102486/robino1.html", and just assumed that the number is your member number. Looked at some others as I was surfing and it looks like there are over 140,000 members (saw some in the upper 130's).

Can't hover on an iPad. ;). I don't remember how or when I figured the number thing out.

LOL - Believe it or not this is the 2nd Forum. SJ shut the original one down and opened this one. Yep I was a member of the 1st original forum.

I am the 23rd member, however, many were not active. I would say no more than 12 people were actually active on the forum when I joined.

it's like hearing a story from someone that came from another universe, where everything is just a little bit different and dinosaurs still roam the earth wearing cowboy hats and becoming door to door to salespeople.

i think i've had too much sugar today.
