I've inadvertently turned mine off a few times as well.
I think - at least in my case - it was getting used to the fire button, and not pressing it firmly. A soft touch might cause contact bounce in the switch, and three times and it's off
But, hey, it resets the counter and I don't have to worry about the 999 trick

This was my work set up today. Just the mvp and an evod. No worries about extra batts or a charger. I used to carry a pila with me because I was allways paranoid. My back pack was a bit lighter I must say heh. I did still take my provari with me with a charged batt just incase.

I think one thing I like most about this thing is that I can use my phone charger to charge it. It's very convenient. I do foresee myself using it to bring my cell phone back to life at some point.

That's what makes the "battery bank" feature so useful!
If the MVP only gave me a day, day and a half of charge, I doubt I'd want to risk using it to charge a dead cell phone. Being that I've gotten three full days out of a charge, if I go to an amusement park with my kids, or I'm out all day, I can easily recharge my phone (which has aweful battery life) from the MVP, and still know the MVP won't go dead on me!
It's a really great device, for a reasonable price! Only wish it had a resistance meter built in, but, oh well....
Just got my MVP yesterday. So far I'm very happy with it. A lot more pocket friendly than I was thinking it would be.
At first I didn't think I'd like the box shape but it is a lot more comfortable than I expected.

I agree. My HTC one x whatever it's called uses battery life a bit too quickly. The big screen has something to do with it I believe. None the less next time my family goes to the zoo, mall, Richard Grieco's house, I know it will come in handy. At work I do have my provari in my backpack just in case there is a major failure and even the passthrough feature doesn't work.

Congrats friend! I'm glad you are happy. I missed the box feel myself. I used to have a Reo grand. I wouldn't of sold it if I knew about kicks back then. Even so i still would of gotten an mvp for the battery life.
I wish my dang phone had that type of battery life. Say, I know nothing about those battery banks they sell. Is there one one could get say if you go on a week long camping trip to where they filmed deliverance so you can charge your phone and mvp?
I've had my MVP for a couple weeks now and it has preformed great, been really happy with it as a step up from my twists. Mainly because its ginormous battery and less tendency to fall over.
I used it to put a charge on my phone for the first time last night and it got very warm and wouldn't fire a clearomizer till it cooled down, which fortunately only took a couple minutes. In 20 minutes or so it charged my phone, a Razr M (decent size battery) from 20% to 60%. When I plugged it in the MVP had roughly an 80% charge and after charging the phone the light turned yellow after a couple puffs. To those that have charged their phones with it...does this sound normal? I was surprised how quick it put that much charge on my phone and a little worried about how warm it got.

Hm.. I wouldn't use it to charge my phone all the time, but it does seem normal for the device to get warm from the charging. Now... how warm is normal.. I do not know.

I still take my Spinner and Twist when I go out for it's small size, but I'll definitely bring the MVP for longer trips. To think of it.... would it be okay to charge my Twist/Ego with the MVP? The eGo USB charger does fit into the bottom of the MVP....

Oo I like the carbon wrap. Do they have girlier stuff? I prefer the Evod to the T3 so far but only because it hasn't screwed up yet... when it does... I dunno.. I'll probably still use it since all but one of my T3's leak/flood.
they have a lot of designs, but I wanted this one to show off the loveliness of the titanium blue. the texture is real nice too- easier to find the trigger button when I'm not fully paying attention.
the T3 is giving me so much more vapor (clouds!) than the eVod and the mouthpiece is more comfortable to me. I am more comfortable with the size of the eVod though.

Just be careful when plugging/unplugging the charger. I got my blue MVP in late November. It was my favorite mod. I used it every single day. I plugged it in to charge every other day. Last night when I got home from work, I went to plug it in to top off the battery. Something was weird. There was no resistance when I inserted the charger into the charge port on the bottom of the device. I turned it over to look at the bottom of it to see if something was stuck in the charge port like pocket lint or something... there was nothing there. No pocket lint, no obstruction of any kind, not even a charge port. I shook the device around and heard a rattle. I popped off the bottom chrome cover, using a T6 torx bit... and the charge port fell out of the device. I pulled out the circuit board to see what happened, and from the looks of it, the charge port came un-soldered from the circuit board. I fired up my soldering iron to see if I could repair it, but I failed. I was able to solder the port back on to the board, but it still woulden't take a charge. I'm not happy.
I've heard they fixed this issue in the newer version but not sure. Sorry to hear that
