I just got my VaporSkinz black carbon fiber wrap today... very nice! Much easier to place than the skin I got for my netbook, and the cutouts are dead on laser-precise. Now I have to buy another MVP just to get the Tardis skin... :D

Pics or it didn't happen! Lol

I may go for the the clear.

Some of you techies might know this, I heard a rumor that when they fixed the ego threads they also fixed the battery charger connection to be more sturdy is this true? Anyone have both versions to compare?

Oh and I'm keeping track of how many times I charge my mvp on evernote. Once it hits 300 I'm buying a back up.

hi y'all,
just found this thread and happy about it.

on the bottom of the unit there is a switch that says on/off(output).
what does this do?

I ve had my MVP since maybe just before christmas from a co-op.

I can go days and I mean days before I have to charge. I did 1 time use it to give my phone a boost charge on a long car trip, and it didn't get hot, warm even.

so, help me out with one other question if you would,

what's a good clearo, or tank to use on here. i'm still using the i16's that came with the kit just changing the heads, and now Im down to only 1 since I screwed the tank part too tight and it broke.

rite now i have a cartomizer on it, works fine no problems, just was reading thru the thread and saw where some of you had good things to say about some of the other types of tanks and all.

i can change heads but not into rebuilding, at least i dont think i am.....

thanks for any help!!!

The switch is used to turn the power on and off to the standard size USB port for charging other devices from the MVP battery. You should leave it off unless you are charging an external device with your MVP.

I've had good luck with the iClear 30, pictured in my last post... it will take the coils from the iClear 16, it just has slightly different wicks.

I've also been using the Vapeonly BCC mega, which I do like, but has intermittent gurgling/flooding problems. Right now it's behaving, but it needs some revisions before it's ready to be my all-day vape device.

I'm waiting on the Kanger ProTank, should be here later today.

The switch is to turn on the MVP output, to use it to charge some other USB device. For vaping, put it in the OFF position.

A good delivery system for the MVP? Uh, anything you like to vape?

I use carto tanks, Stardust style clearos, Vivi Novas, cartos, Vivi Nanos... depending on what I have filled and what I feel like vaping at any given moment :vapor:

If you like the i16s, get some more heads for them.

I've read the same thing, I have not been able to actually remove the innards from the bottom to get a good look inside. I'm afraid to force it and end up breaking my little vape box! I think they now plop a dab of glue or epoxy to hold the port in place, but I'm careful when plugging and unplugging and I also use a standard micro-usb cable to charge. That bulky box they ship with it looks ridiculous, and I think it would be easier to damage the port with the included charge cable.

I really don't like the bulky box either, where did you buy yours from? The standard one?

I'm tech challenged, sorry lol.

well thanks y'all!!

i tried the NANO'S was not impressed. dont even wanna see me try and rebuild a; crap anything really hahah!!!

i feel like I should be evolving like the the industry, improvements, new bells and whistles, shiny stuff that works better than when I started 3 years ago. (AHEM, UMMM I HAD TO PUT THAT IN THERE , YESTERDAY WAS MY 3RD YR HERE ON ECF)

But , I guess I just like the carto's, and the easy clearo's. SOMETIMES IT JUST FEELS LIKE SOMETHINGS MISSING.

time to make new flavors... on to the e-liquid thread lolol!!!

I picked up a micro cable at a local - uh, variety? store, aka Fred Meyer, but probably that's specific to the northwest. Wally World? I happened to get a retractable one, brand name ReTrak. Maybe look in the phone / ipad / tablet sections.

And sugismimi - Happy Anniversary!

btw, Nanos are not made to be rebuilt. More along the lines of a carto, use it 'til it gunks up, and toss it. (I did run one through an ultrasonic cleaner for a while, then put it on the heat vent for a couple days to dry, with marginally acceptable results. Haven't heard of anyone else trying to clean them - as in what's the point?)

Having dropped and broken one, I of course had to totally take it apart. It's like a tiny carto tank, bottom coil. Of course, tiny is almost it's name... I do like them for new flavors, as I find them a cheap and easy device.

I just got my MVP and 10 replacement heads for the clear 16 in 1.5 ohm, upgraded from the Ego that I have used the past year.

though the 1.5 ohm dual coil is supposed to be run at lower volts like 3.7- mine wont get hot at 3.7, I am running in the red at 4.3 volts, my juice does not seem to be burning and I have not popped the coils.

I love this unit so far, the Ego was great when it lasted but now that I have VV I am sold on them, when my MVP kicks the bucket some day I want to try the SVD that Innokin has out.
