Grats :)

It took me 3 days but I finally have a 2ohm coil running very well at 7-9w in my agat+, it's a great feeling :)

Now THAT is purty! This is my second try but it works I guess! See above reply! How'd you get em so nice??

Thank you :)

That was the 11th coil I did, and about the 4th wick. I just wrapped it around the wick as even as I could then tweaked it for EVER. I actually had it done and poked and prodded on it for a day and a half before it started working right. Ohms were between 1.5 and 2.2 but I kept poking because at least it wasn't constantly dropping below 1ohm. Not sure exactly why it started acting right but I'm glad it did. It's now a constant 2.0ohm every time I check it.

I really want to take it out and try to do better but I'm waiting on some 32g to get here and I want to empty this yummy tank of CinnABun first :p

Prolly not long lol. I intend to redo it all as soon as my vmail shows up! Need the practice!

Nah, don't redo this coil, figure out the longevity of it for, um... data collecting. Besides it gives you a great excuse to buy another AGA-T+ for expanded experimentation purposes... Yeah that's it. ;)

LOL you make an excellent and compelling point. I'm searching for an RSST and an AGI tonight :p

I am so wanting to try out an RSST as soon as I can. I'm waiting until the end of the month to go hog wild on a few things I want. So far, the list includes a Provari (black with the 18650 extension and blue LED's), a Vamo V2, an AGA-T2 (gotta love the whole pyrex thing), a Kanger ProTank, drooling over a Themis Titanide, and Caravela, also looking at a Vaperfexion Pro-V tank, and the list goes on and on... (The wife hasn't seen the full list.... staying alive that way.... hehehe) Gonna try to get the Provari and at least two of the tanks before month's end.)

I hear a lot of folks complain about the draw being to tight with these. i think its just the opposite, too airy!? What do you think?

I think it's too tight. I'm always reluctant to modify something until I'm sure I want to do it. I will most likely drill out the air hole on the cap tomorrow, slightly.

At 7-7.5w I get the perfect tasting and temperature hit but the draw is soooo long and I have to chain vape like 4 hits in a row to get it puffing real good. At 9w I get the cloud I want but it's a little harsh and the coil gets so hot the cap gets very warm to the touch I can't draw more than 3 times or it just gets way too hot.

Nice list :)

ProVari - Right behind you, in a few weeks (probably)
VAMO V2 - Way ahead of you :p SS and kicking ...., love it
AGA-T2 - I could only find a T+ so I ordered a pyrex tube with it.. good enough for me :)
Kanger ProTank - I hear such good things about these but I'm not trying them yet for 2 reasons, they are narrower than I like and they are a "buy replacement heads from us for when it wears out". Granted the replacements are cheaper than clearo/nova heads but I plan to limit my parts replacing to wick and coils, I just really like the whole idea of rebuilding the perishable parts myself.
Themis Tidanide - Yowza.. I can't get on board with you here either.. for a fancy mech I think the best looking one I've seen so far is a Chi-You
Caravela - Now THAT's a nice looking piece of hardware!
Vaperfexion ProV - Looks nice, I have a couple U-DCT's that work well enough.

Vaping is in so many ways the perfect solution for so many people to quit cigs. For tech nerds (I wear the badge proudly) there is so much fun stuff to do and for non techies it's still fun to collect pretty shiny things that make delicious tasting "smoke". My gf has several Vivi Novas and a few Vision v2 clearos and decided she had to have an eGo battery for each of her tanks.. smh. Now she has 9 batteries of 4 varieties. And the great part is I could buy a Provari later this month and still have spent less on vaping than I would have smoking :D Although.. I don't know if I would rather spend $200 on a Provari or a kicked kicka$$ mech... hmmm..... decisions decisions

I've had my Aga-T+ for about two weeks now. I felt the draw was a little tight at first but figured i just needed to get used to it. Then I tried a buddy's who had bored out the air hole to 1/16" and it was much smoother. I've been enjoying mine much more after I did this.

I must say that I found the Aga T+ to be way too airy at first. After setting it up properly and getting used to it, I reckon it's just right. Sounds like the air hole size varies on these. It is by far the airiest draw I've had on any device. Reckon it needs all that air for all that vapor!

Man I completely hear ya. I'm actually gunning for the Provari and a Vamo by the end of the month. I'll probably get a pair of the AGA-T+'s to roll with them as well. That Profexion tank will have to wait until May. The heads for the ProTank are actually rebuildable with a bit of fiddling, which is kinda cool. There's a new post in the General section that goes over rebuilding them. ;) Yeah I'd really rather start with a Caravela in the fancy mech mod category, but I think it might be easier to get the Titanide on order than to get a Caravela on order, but I'm going to see what it'll take when I get to the point where I can actually swing one. Until then, I might look at the Chi-You. Probably throw in some cheap mech mods like that new one that is coming out from China at the end of the month. Price is really right on it: Sigelei Telescope MOD "PRE ORDER" #8 not #13 - Pre Orders by VaporTek USA so that'll be one I jump on as soon as I get done with my next show. We'll see how it all comes together, you know? Hehe :D

So I drilled out the air hole on my AGA-T+ cap to 1/16in... meh

It's not bad but if I get another AGA I probably won't do it again. The draw is now super easy, maybe too much so. I will say though that I'm vaping full clouds at 8w and the cap is no longer getting hot. Maybe I just need some time to get used to it, just did it 10 minutes ago. Not terrible but not the "omg why didn't I do this immediately" sort of feeling I was hoping for.

Lol. Have you tried the drip screw removed trick? I tried it while refilling HUGE cloud. Didn't wanna lose it so put it back in loosely and loosened the other as well. Works too but not like with one completely out.
