The CA ban is aimed at retailers. Smoke shops and mall kiosks. Purchasing over the internet will not be a problem.

Wow, this all really amazes me in general. California is always the first to pass the dumb laws. Who would have thought that Big Tabacco would become this threatened.

I'm so confused. What exactly is or would be banned? The way I see it, there is nothing that exists that is an electronic cigarette on it's own. There does exist certain components that when connected together mimic the actions of traditional cigarettes. I purchase a battery. I purchase an atomizer. I purchase some PG or VG juice with some nicotine laced in it that may or may not have a particular flavor. A vaporisor, a personal one at that. What about a big vaporisor that you can put vapo-rub in it? What's the difference other than portability and scale?
