I have no plans to quit vaping.

I'll also very likely continue to have an occasional drink, and definitely coffee every day.

I'm sure there are some other things, but it's Sunday night and my brain isn't computing well.

In other words, I don't really care all that much.

I just clean my windows every month and my lungs get a chance to clean themselves when I go to sleep. Think I'll keep vaping.

Also anyone ever notice that vape gathers in a house much less than car windows? Has to be a reason for that.

I think it has to do with dust and pollens and pollution that is outside..

Our car windows get a nasty film and we have to continually clean them, and we don't vape in the car. :sigh:

I have to dust my house regularly or there are dust bunnies.. maybe I can blame that on vaping..

I don't doubt there isn't some residues from vaping if your huffing directly into something continually, but I doubt it's as serious as all that..

I remember tar dripping down walls if you smoked in the house and didn't wash down the walls periodically.. vaping darn sure doesn't do that..

The last time the windows in my Silverado were cleaned must have been before my husband got sick, because I know I hadn’t cleaned them from September 2014 to the beginning of this month, just after I bought my 2020 Traverse. First time I drove the new truck after dark I was blinded by glare.

I had the Invisible Glass cleaning kit and cleaned the new truck’s windows and had to wash the microfiber pads. It was filthy. The old truck, I couldn’t even tell if I’d missed a spot or not. And I make my own 25pg/75vg juice with sweetener and lots of flavor. And I chain vape while I drive - I keep two mods at hand.

You might want to have your vehicle looked at, it sounds like something is wrong with it.

I went into a house one time where the walls were a disgusting yellow/brown-ish color. Turns out it was from decades of smoking indoors (walls were originally white).

It gets cold where I live so I mostly keep the car windows closed in the winter. If I didn't clean the windscreen for a month I wouldn't be able to see out. Even after a week oncoming headlights blind me. Five years?
The Vibe is very cab forward. The windshield at its base is probably 18 in from the dash. I maybe have the windshield defroster on 5 -6 times A Year otherwise the AC is on blowing everything Away from the windshield.

Yeah, it took me a while to realize it was vaping that was causing it. In the winter I have to clean my windshield every few days. During the day it's not a big deal usually, but at night, totally blinded by headlights.

I never have the windows down. It was crazy cold, rained almost non stop all spring, went right to mid nineties in the summer. Even when the weather isn’t bad, my hair is. It’s very long and unruly. There is no way to control it in the wind.

So yes, I had the windows up and did not clean anything on that truck, windows or otherwise, after my husband’s death. I was a bit preoccupied.

Been vaping for almost 6 years now, so Iv cleaned a lot of vape spew from windows, ect. It literally melts with lukewarm water. Easier then cleaning a oily pan. I dont know what you were cleaning off, but it dont sound like vape spew to me.

Well I do have a bear of a time cleaning the vapor film off my car windows.
You think you have it...and it's nice and clear...but it's all blurry - clear but blurry.

There have been several threads on this over the years.

I get better results wiping with a dry soft cloth first and then however many rounds of window cleaner it takes.

And some days in the winter...my windows quickly fog up on the inside so bad I have to pull over to clean them.

Does kind of make you wonder...but after almost 10 years of vaping I am not seeing any health issues from vaping.

There have been many threads here about vaping films, whether in a car, home, etc, so there is no doubt for SOME, it happens. Not sure why some do and some dont, but I suspect it's the vg and mls vaped and perhaps if you have the windows up or down or run the ac or not. For myself I never get any films either in the house (where both my wife & I vape) or in my vehicle. In both areas the a/c runs 95 percent of the time and in our vehicles the windows are cracked when vaping. Also we vape 60 to 70 vg and combined we only vape 3mls per day, So things definitely vary . so for those not running a/c, windows up, chain vaping 20mls of high vg, you probably will get films. Whether those films are a danger, I really dont know. I suspect it's way less harmless than smoke, but not sure about self cleaning lungs, that just seems a bit to far fetched to self clean any amounts of vapor. I suspect that vaping isnt that bad, but not good for our lungs either

I vape a LOT in my car and only 20% VG - window is usually cracked open a bit

Another one cracks under the pressure of the moral panic. For some, it is necessary to vilify a thing in order to summon the will to quit it. It seems like a bit of a reach though, to equate your dark, moist lungs to a dry sheet of UV-exposed glass. I solved this problem with Haze Away Vape spray. Though that product is discontinued there are plenty of glass cleaners available. Get a microfiber flex-wand too. Especially in cold weather, VG residue clings to glass and can be distracting under night-driving and bright sunshine conditions. As for the lungs, they are self-cleaning.
