I stockpiled some nicotine base, because I feel that would be the only thing difficult to obtain if a ban went into effect.

I agree with that idea, the rest of the materials are pretty much multi use items. I do wonder about the shelf life of the nicotine, and if PG or Vg based is the way to go.

I have been stockpiling bit by bit since the day I discovered this forum. I really do not see any downside to being prepared.

I'm in a country which has already banned e-cigs and anything related -- even spare parts.

So I've been stockpiling everything from day one. :)

I have a fair amount in the bank and that's what I would do if this pathetic UK government banned them (they've banned everything else that makes life remotely enjoyable).
What would you do.

I think an outright ban is not likely. If they have not banned tobacco cigarettes they will not ban e-cigs. However the real possibility is extreme taxation. So from that stand point stocking up is a good idea.

Don't be so sure Sun Vaporer, they were banned in Australia overnight without a word of warning.

To answer the question, yes, I'm in the process of stockpiling right now.

Just curious if they are banned can you get hardware and juice in from the internet or is customs seizing?

I'm currently in process of doing so, by the gallon and unflavored if need be. This years taxes will be moving our first new home (11yrs married) and stocking up on vaping gear.

I watched a documentary on TV last night. I never knew the history of prohibition. Very interesting... it was reversed because as the Pres said something like "Prohibition has created what we were trying to avoid in the first place." I never knew that the IRS (read Internal REVENUE Service) and DEA were both created during and as a result of prohibition. It was the MONEY the Feds wanted and the same is going to happen with vaping no doubt. I'm definitely stockpiling everything including hardware which is actually my greatest concern. I fear they will ban any topper used to vape anything but prefilled.

I bought a liter of nic, about 6 months ago. I use 24 mg. when I make my liquids. I started DIYing about the 2nd year into vaping, which in May will be 4 years. Totally off smoking, now since August not one drag. I mostly didn't smoke in these 4 years, the e-cigs really worked and still do. As I learned more about modding and rebuilding. I have no desire to smoke, because my satisfaction level is maintained consistently, and I am not having any close relations with smokers either (that was a sticky wicky with ex-boyfriend who tried vaping but never really caught on to it, like I did). So, due to DIY liquid, rebuidling I guess stockpiling has been a natural. I don't think 1 liter is enough liquid for more than 1 year, but it is nearly enough. I've thought of weaning my strength in nic downwards, but haven't as of yet. I think that will be the hurdle keeping enough nic. The batteries, I think thanks to flashlight technology won't be too hard to replace. The mods though, might wear out. I have not built a mod... ? Does anyone know how to make a mod out of something LOL? I am not suggesting dangerously, but could something common that we use for other purposes be rigged to perform as a mod? Ready for banning, no. I hate this and think that smokers/vapers are persecuted to the extent that we should revolt! It's enough to make me lose all interest in the world outside the door. If they ban everything but cig a likes, very possibly...... they will....... Then anyone seen using a homemade looking mod or something unusual will be a simple target for more persecution and worse, detainment, confiscation and police brutality. I am grateful to be the age I am now, where a Granny looking lady, doesn't usually draw to much attention to herself in the world anyway, but if I am seen toking on my iTaste with the trident on top.... after a ban goes into effect, some Nanny a hole might call the cops... who knows. So besides stockpiling, are we prepared for the Nazi like atmosphere of Nanny tyranny???

On a rock floating through space
with my third rebuildable on the way and sitting on ~600ml of juice, I'm not too worried. Though if the word came down, I'd buy a gallon of nic just to keep some stock

of course, itll be impossible for them to ban 0nic, but what fun is that stuff? I guess NET is easy enough to do...
