Whatever device you use, carry a spare battery. Ego, carry a second one. Mod, carry an extra 18xxx or 2.

If carrying 18xxx batteries, keep the spare(s) in a battery case. IMR battery, loose in your pocket with keys and change = bad news one day.

If you're using a smaller tank system, anything less than 3ml, carry a bottle of juice with you, just in case.

Know your source. Don't buy juice off EBay

I'm going to have to disagree here, I found an eBay US seller that makes really good juice with natural flavoring and uses a 70/30 VG/pg mix. It's Rare to find that, but they are out there. I would say Don't buy ejuice from any vendor in China.

I'm going to have to disagree here; the Hangsen and Liqua juices from China these days are for the most part excellent. They tend to be simpler flavors, but are very true-tasting.

This was not the case 9 months ago when many of these tended to be chemical-smelling with muddy flavors. Hangsen Juicy Peach has been a big favorite from Day 1, though!

I thought they could not put Nicotine on the E-bay juice?

I guess I would recomend not treating starting out as just a quick, instant cure for smoking.

I know I should have done much more reading and learning before bloeing a lot of time and money on crappy hardware and crappy gas station juice.

I started off with good beginner gear (genuine kanger evod starter kit) but got a bit derailed by also buying crappy, cheap knockoff stuff to get a spare tank or new flavor on a whim. If I would have had some paitence, I would not have a dozen bottles of un-vapeable puff juice and crapply made knockoff ce4/5 tanks.

I dont regret my protanks and evods. Love love love my kayfuns and 18650 mods though.

I needed the learning curve, I just didnt want to put in the time and effort at first. I realize now that through time and effort, I have figured out what works for me and am now really happy with my stuff and it works consistently great for me now.

But I research the crap out of anything I am enamored with now before I spend the money to experiment.

Find a couple of good tobacco-flavored juices for your initial transition away from cigarettes. When you are really craving a smoke, a watermelon/strawberry/banana/whatever flavored vape just doesn't satisfy as much as the tobacco flavors. Blueberry Muffin or Tropical Paradise Dream will be a wonderful alternative (even initially) but do yourself a favor and focus on finding a tobacco flavor you enjoy. I'm a complete newbie BTW and experiencing this right now.
