So, here you are down the road a ways glad that smoking is a thing of the past for you. We are all here because vaping got us, and hopefully kept us off the cigs, question is would you quit vaping today if it were simple and you suffered no withdrawals from the nicotine, oral fixation, etc.?

Personally I'd love to say yes but I know vaping has become a hobby for me as well and quitting would leave a void in my life, wondering how the rest feel about this.

There it is, sound off folks! No right or wrong answer here, just curious.

I'd have to say it's become a hobby for me as well. I look forward to tinkering beyond just the vape itself and this place is a form of social connection that I would miss.

Also, vaping (specifically, the world of rebuilding) makes me feel capable and knowledgeable (whether or not I actually am) - smoking never did (quite the opposite, actually). I would have to back fill it with something that gave me the equivalent rewards.

Exactly how I feel Papa L, that's what I was getting at. Vaping has become much more than just a means to avoid smoking for me and the social aspect of this group is very important to me.

I love vaping-everything about it. Love to tinker, love to try new things, love all the flavors and I love that I'm not smoking.

What I don't love is being treated like I'm still a smoker.

Nope.

At first, in the beginning, it was all about NOT picking up a black n mild, making the right choice. At first it was a poorly satisfying vuse, then a poorly functioning spinner knock off. It was all down hill after lurking here and seeing what a true vape was all about.

I thought "cool, this will be my way to quit....... Again......." But after way too much reading here and sooooooo many pics of bad .... attys and devices, this is now and probably will be for some time to come, one heck of an addictive hobby!

Of course. It's a hobby but also a vice and safety blanket of sorts. Without the vice, I think the hobby would slowly disappear and I'd have more money to dedicate to other hobbies. The cost of my sigelei and lemo, mech and dripper, batteries and chargers, mvp and pt2, starter kits and juice would pay for a roll cage for my jeep. Ha
