You didn't need to read much past the fact he had the ohm meter set to 2K and was getting .002 "ohms". Obviously, he was reading .002 kilo Ohms, which could be anywhere between 1.5 and 2.49 ohms with rounding. I give him props for his wick setup, but he obviously needs to brush up a little on high drain batteries, ohms and multimeters before he goes further.

The worse thing is that some expensive mods (mechanical or electronic) have front venting holes, so if a battery explodes the mod will go straight to your neck. As you see the reviewers have to be careful but a modder has to be even more careful if you agree. Everyone those days makes mods without any special thought on them
Thanks Bishopheals, for understanding my concerns. I spend a lot of my time and some of my money helping to prevent the FDA from regulating this industry. They want to sell the idea that the technological pace of innovation without oversight is out of control and that the industry needs their oversight. Well, we know how badly THAT could bog down innovation.

Unfortunately, when I see newbies with $35 mechanical devices stuffed with stacked 18350's under $24 RBA's because it looks like the $500 rigs that the vets are using, and they don't know the first things about battery safety or ohm's law, I'm almost inclined to agree with them myself. It will only take one tragic incident in a public venue to make the papers, and we'll all be sucking on Blu's.

Edit: Oh, and I'm the customer swapping the COV gen 2's for AGA-T2's that inquired about getting a penelope. Just so you know I'm a paying customer of COV. I agree that your CS is TOP drawer. I'd still like that pennie... :p ...

I COMPLETELY agree with this. When I saw the "GG clone" I was not only disappointed for your sake, but I had a fit about the location of the venting holes DIRECTLY over the top of the button. Not only would venting burn a much needed hand of the user fairly seriously, but it will likely cause them to throw the mod away from them during the vent. Those gasses can reach 600F+ very quickly. God only knows where it might land, and if it ignites, what it might burn. Just NO thought at all about the use of it, or the user. And if it DOES do harm or damage, who exactly is the user supposed to go after for redress for the irresponsible design? Some Chinese company? Good luck with that...

Back on topic, It appears you may have some revolutionary RBA process in the works. I'm very excited to see what you have in store for the vaping community. You make amazing products.
