So I'm curious about this airhole drilling deal. I LOVE my Igo (it's nearly all I've used since I got it about 2 weeks ago). The draw seems OK, maybe just a little tight. I'm getting good vapor, but naturally I want more (don't we all?)

Out of those that have drilled out the airhole, how large did you go and how have you found it affects the draw/vapor?

I own quite a few of these little buggers, i have airholes that range from 1.5mm-2mm+ for me :toast: if the sky is blue in my town on a certain day...it's cause i haven't woken up and started vaping ;)

I don't feel I'm getting enough vapor and have tried moving the hole right by the coil. Does this mean I am supposed to go out and buy a drill and drill bit to get a nice vapor? I've also tried the wine bottle corkscrew thing in the hole bu to don't think it did much, if anything.

If you want to open it up just a little bit, just buy a drill bit a tiny bit larger than the stock hole. I just took the cap into my local hardware and selected from the "number" drill bits -- I think I got #56, #57 and #58. You don't really need a drill. I just held the bit in a little set of vicegrips and twisted it in the hole to open it up. I used the two smallest bits and now I'm happy with the draw.

Don't just open it up to a huge size because it's not easy to go back. Work your way up.

no drill press because the bit is so thin, I wanted hand control on pressure. I would use a press for 1.5mm. I dimpled with a hammer and punch first so the bit wouldn't wander. And I used Rapid Tap cutting fluid: its the difference between one bit that's still sharp and 5 bits and an incomplete hole.

I make jewelry and have BurLife, it's amazing for keeping burs and bits living through some heinous work lol
