Not really :(

I noticed that some juice had leaked through the 510 connector on the ZAU and the glue that holds that delrin insulator in place broke when I tried to take that metal part off the top of the center post off to clean it out. The center post currently spins around in the atty. Did some research and it seems Zen~ has acknowledged this issue and suggested using Gorilla Glue to fix it on somebody's web show. Supposedly this fixes the leaking through the connector issue as well... Gotta pick some up tomorrow and try to glue it back in.

I did however polish up the Paps and put my AGA-Hydra on it for the time being.

Watch what kind you get if you use gorilla glue. That stuff expands like no tomorrow.

I do know that Mike (Zen) tightened one for someone at vapercon by putting a tiny piece if a business card in with the plastic piece to keep it from turning, but I never had any problems as long as that plastic was seated all the way down / flush..

piece of a pop can can works too. cut a lil sliver of the can, slide it in there and push the delrin back down..

Got it fixed. Asked around in the Zen~ thread and got the right glue, it's the "Super Glue" Gorilla Glue. It's CA glue, the same kind used in bully tips. It specifically says on the back that it's not recommended for filling gaps, I'm assuming this means it doesn't expand. Gonna give it 24 hours to fully dry before using it much, but the post is secure now, and it's delivering proper current as measured by meter.

While I had the post out, I also took the time to remove the spring and give it a good cleaning as well as a bit of noalox on the spring before reassembly... It really is a simple design, but I'm wondering why Mike thought it a good idea to secure it with super glue in the first place.

Thanks again for the deal Vapor, it's a beautiful pairing of devices.

mm.. I went in a coop for an MVP and some 500 mesh, both went very well and exceptionally pleased with both items. YMMV.

I been in others that went fine, and I even get the concept of it being a test run, so we didn't know the quality. But I don't expect the risk being from the shipping from the person running to co-op to me being an open and empty box.

The person running the coop actually sent out empty boxes?

Oh my, that's terribly irresponsible... I mean if you're unwilling to manage the small but important details, why even volunteer to run the co-op?

I haven't yet participated in any, but hearing this makes it unlikely that I will.

Sorry that's chitty was it insured?

I am always in a co-op currently in 3 I would say 2 went bad. Currently have a evic that's on recall list but fighting for replacements, I have 2 of the oddys coming from a co-op and expect junk from day 1 and it seems they will be. I have the terminator c for 38 bucks from discountvaper and it's a great clone so good I will get a second 1.

He just got back with me a few minutes ago, he is going to refund me and make sure he is more careful with packaging from now on. So that is good anyways.

Kwalka is a good guy. That doesn't surprise me at all. I have been a a lot of co-ops. I will keep doing them. The only one I regret so far is the Scuba Gen Mini v3. That one really went south.
