My Vivi Nova is still working great. I wished they made these with the coil, etc. at the bottom. Then when your juice was low it would still re-saturate the wick without tilting it. I'm still amazed it hasn't turned out like the CE2 or 3,4,5,6.............. whatever version they're at now.:2c: This seems more stable and consistant. So far anyway.

Hey 5card what blend ratio of juice are you using? Is there anything to filling these things besides pouring the juice in and firing it up? I want to give these another chance...I burnt all 3 of my coils already lol. Not sure what wattage is too high for these, I was around 7-8.

I always use 100% PG because VG gives me terrific headaches. I don't use it all day but everytime I vape on it for awhile it's been working great. I do have to tip it when the juice gets down aways but out of all these I've tried like the Imist and the clearos etc. I like this one the best. The Imist is pretty good too but it doesn't have the throat hit these do. I use this for my sweet stronger flavors like caramel and RY4.

I want to get another one and mod it for fusions.:D

The head I've been using meters at 2.7 and I've been using it at the 5 volt level. Maybe 5.1 or 2 and it gives good throat hit but I don't get as much flavor as with a Fusion so that's why I use it for my stronger flavors. I'm very pleased with it so far.

You might not have burned the coils. On my first head (v2), they took forever to break in (like 2 days) during which, I was chasing the very fine "I can taste something and it's not a burned flavor" point that was all over the place from one moment to the next…VV FTW. The V2.5 I put in yesterday was a little muted at first but it seemed to break in quicker. I only use the 1.8 heads, and I've vaped them up around 11W (4.5V, 1.8 Ohm, 2.5A limit…depending on the voltage drop on my Twist……certainly at least above 10 at the high end).

But i do drop a couple drops straight on the coil when first loading it and after filling swirl the wicks until they're obviously saturated (takes <10 seconds).

7-8 watts should be fine. I use from 30/70 pg/vg to 70/30 pg/vg in the Vivi Nova's without problems. Mainly use the 2.4Ω heads (mine have all metered high by .2-.3Ω's) and PV set 4.0-4.2 volts. I have 1/2 doz filled with different flavours. Vaper production is good, but like 5card stated, the flavour tends to me a bit muted. I've only had to clean / dry burn 2 in the month I've been using them.

So, what you're saying is that those fusions don't taste anything like smoktech cartos.

I think I'm going to have to get some.

That's why they're always out of stock. Because we had to tell everyone how good they were. I gave away all my Boges and Smoketechs etc. when I started using Fusions, Mega 808s, Platinums, V2 drip tips etc. but the Fusions top the list.
The one I'm using now I've had in for over 2 weeks but I'm going to change it. Not because it's bad but because I have some and I might forget how to change them if I don't do it once in awile.:D:D:D:D:D

Fusions are pretty much all I use,in a tank of course. I however don't care for the 801 topcaps. Changed mine back to 510 with stealth 510-801 adaptors. I think the draw is much better that way. My 2 cents.

I had too many problems with cartos and attys making contact with 510 connections. They seem to vary in depth from one supplier to the next and beings they are in a hole they're a natural juice well for spilled or leaked juice. I don't use 801 connectors but the 808/901 connector. It is a male thread so there's not a problem getting a lot of juice inside, they fit more cartos than any other and have less problems making a connection. I do wish they had a few more threads on them but I still like them and I don't mind using adapters.
But hey if everyone did then the rest would go out of business. That's the nice thing about it is there is something for everyone. That's also the nice thing about Ikenvape products is he has so many great ones that he has spent a great deal of time and money researching and developing for us that there is something there for everyones want and needs.

Also like Fran posted with adapters you have more control on the draw or venting.
