This is a test, a test of quite a different sort: if you have any f###ing idea of what 5CS is talking about--if you remember cold war Civil Defense duck & cover drills, Emergency Broadcast System tests and Indian head, black & white test patterns, you pass.

If you're a rugrat and have no clue, you fail.

Whoo Hooo! Another test passed without studying....

Not too long ago, I was trying to explain to my boy the fear that us oldies grew up with.
Just when I thought I was safe living in the middle of nowheresville, my dad reminded me that we lived near nukes and that the commies would target those as well as the big cities. We also had a bomb shelter.
Does anyone remember watching The Day After on the TV?

I guess you haven't caught on to my jokes yet. Sorry.
Your up in Bozeman huh Lax? I used to have a shop in Pablo when I lived over there. Loved it and wished I would of never left.

Yup, been here 16 years. Watched enough people leave and come back or wish they could that I just stayed :D

Don't get too comfortable, remember what happened to me :(
He ran a newsletter test last night too. Looking like this time might really be the one. Only time will tell. Hopefully well get a update from the man himself. I know he was online after 4am so guessing he will not be online anytime soon lol.

Yeah, he tweeted that at such an odd time I can't decide if "tomorrow night" means Monday or Tuesday night.

RISW, I have not yet tried the io6 attys, and certainly am excited now to get some. Tell me about the drip tips, please. Are they the only ones that work with these attys?

Thanks :)

Yeah, the newsletter got me excited, it said IKV test -- you know damned well I was hoping to test something new!!!!

I love my IO6's, the absolute best I've tried in my UFSs, and I'm eccentric, I'm not afraid to admit my love for a piece of electronics...:thumb:

Since the Io6's have a larger diameter than a typical 306 atty, yes, Io6 drip tips are the only way to go.

I modded a sleeve from a couple stainless XL CE2s I had for use in my UFS, I hope Isaac is reading this as I think a decent sleeve would be a wonderful addition for this atty line, one that anyone could slide over and cinch for use in any tank....:thumb:
Did somewhat similar with a sleeve from a fusion to use a 510 driptip when topfeeding on a GLV3:2cool:

on the I6 attys here is what i did. i took off the black drip tip and cut it so i had a nice straight piece. cleaned out the hole and put a 510 drip tip right on it. works great. i had to push hard to get the 510 tip in but once it went in no problem taking iut out and in again or to change tips.

i6 drip tip.jpg

this is the 1st time i posted a picture in the forum and it worked. im getting good in my old age. 1st time i did this since sept 09
