Ummm, I was at work today on another computer and couldn't respond because I wasn't logged in and I don't know my password without looking it up, but...

If anyone hasn't mentioned it, the ProVari body only has a 510 connection (Protanks, Vivi Novas, etc.), so you might want to consider adding an Ego to 510 adapter to your order, in case you want to use tanks or clearos that use ego connections. The evods I use wouldn't connect to the ProVari without the adapter.

Another point about the adapter: Initially, some of the evods I had didn't want to screw onto the adapter correctly, and I read some awful reviews about the adapter. I finally solved the problem by pushing the center pin down just a little.

Ya know, if the things were pushed down too far in the beginning, people would gripe because the pin wouldn't contact the tank and fire the atomizer and heat up the coils. No contact, no heat, no vape.

Much of this stuff is adjustable. It just that many people don't know it.

For me, it's all good.

Ozwald, it sounds like you have a huge leaking problem!! Just a suggestion since a friend of mine was having the same issue, each time you fill the tank, retighten the head as it does sometimes becomes a little loose and will cause leaking....just a suggestion! Solved most of his major leaking issues.

A place some call paradise
I'm realizing how spoiled I've become over the past few days by this dripper. A buddy of mine put his tip on and tasted it and was blown away. So if a cartomizer is going to be the next closest thing to that flavor that's the route I'm heading. I've only got so long for the ordering of these things cause eventually the wife is going to realize how much I spent today. So I'm going to order a stack of the cartos that were recommended earlier and a nice tank and call it the day. Where do I get one of the rings that make the provari flush across the top? So that the tank looks like an extension of the provari? I'm gonna go with one of the blown tanks from ibtanked or phiniac for this go around. I'm going to order a dripper for the house though. Anyone got recommendations on that?

If I can ever get any Ikenvape cartos. Me sad kitty.

I'd at least try out the ProTank... They have a love/hate following, not really in between... You may love it... You're getting one in your kit anyway, so it's worth a test drive.

Cartos are going to be consistent. The Ikenvape cartos are going to have the best flavor, with the Boge and SmokTech cartos coming in behind. The Boge and SmokTech cartos are a crapshoot... I've had many that were great, and a handful that were horrible. The Ikenvape is nice every time...

I didn't really like your post, since the kitty is so sad.

Which IKenVape cartos are you looking for?

Never mind. I didn't look closely at the listing.

No, I was right the first time. There are some cartos in stock.

510 Fusion

Wow - Just as I was posting one I linked to went OOS.

When ordering carto's be sure to get the correct size, xl carto's for xl tanks, standard carto's for standard tanks and punched, laser drilled or slotted are more user friendly.

The Ikenvape Platinum S Series is supposedly being made right now...

We shall see!

I'm going to need to be on when they replenish their online stock so I can pick up a few million before all you guys buy them up! LoL

They're pretty good with email notification, as long as you are prepared to jump on it as soon as you get the email.

I wonder if anyone has tried using an 801 in a carto tank with an 801-510 adaptor.

When I couldn't get the platinum ones, I tried the 801's and they work fine and flavor might a bit better. Nothing will sit flush with them, so just use around the house. Also, a bit airy. I have a ton of ( no one is surprised) of the xl if anyone wants a few till they get back in stock. I will share.

They have been out of the SR 510 Fusion and SR 510 Platinum for a while. Do the LS 510 Fusion ones work just as well? If so, I'm ordering some tonight.

LR............I got confused......

They recommend sr for the provari, but I have used them, I use the sr at around 4.2 depending on juice and lr between 3.2 -3.6. I mostly use them in my zen carto tank, they are perfect for that. Fusion's are a bit tighter draw..some people swear by fusion and others by the platinum. They are both great and just a matter of preference after you try them out.

I have, but its a 510-801 adaptor. They are just as wonderful as the 510-Fusion. They look kind of funky with the adaptor though; there will be a gap of about 3 mm between the tank and the Provari top connector.

Ikenvape once sent me LR 510-Fusions by mistake. I couldn't vape them because I have to have SR; LR is too harsh for me as I like a cooler vape. I ended up making a trade at my local AltSmoke vape shop for some e-liquid with my ECF buddy MattnNati.

Personally, I've never thought of 2.0 as low res. I always used them because I was using Twists for back-up. I still have more 2.0-2.5 more than other resistances, ordered more out of habit than anything else. I don't have a problem vaping at around 3.7 to 4 volts. I believe when I first ordered from IKV the cartos were probably 2.0 - I know whatever it was, it wasn't high, since I just recently started using 3-3.2 cartos.

ETA: Lol! I read LS as LR - works for me.

Sounds like more decorating possibilities!

I preferred the Platinum, but they don't come with a flange. I wasn't thrilled with the Fusions, but I got the mega size. I might like the standard size better.

Come to think about it (which doesn't happen all the time), I have been using 2.2 Protank heads and they worked just fine. I tend to vape on the low side so I think I'll pick some up. Might get a few 801 threaded ones because I can't make my ProVari look anymore funky than it already does. :)
