Update as promised:
The supplier supplier got back to me about the KGO passthrough. he said "The 1000 mAh KGO/Ego pass-through is an unregulated ego battery. So it puts out more voltage when it is fully charged than it does when near empty. It is not the same battery as we use in our KGO but very similar. ..."

I replied asking that as long as it has a good charge, and is plugged in, will it stay about 3.7 or higher. I'm sure he will let me know by tomorrow. This may be a good option for KGO users working at a computer if it stays at high voltage or even as a backup. I imagine a 1000mah battery will stay good for a lot of the day........

So Bill from Northwest Vapors (the one Vapor eyes er linked to above) got back to me last night. He told me the charged up passthrough battery pulls 4.2v unloaded while disconnected. He offered to give it a whirl for the evening and here was his response.

"The pass-through with the battery is a nice feature. The only thing to keep in mind is that the battery will last longer if you discharge it before you recharge it. You know, let the battery run closer to dead before you plug it back in. But that's not practical with a pass through. So generally a pass-through battery will not have the lifetime that a regular battery does because of the increase of the charge cycles on the pass through battery".

Side note ... My pass through is now registering 3.98v with no load after an evening of use."

So for those who are at a computer, this will be a good option for a backup battery for the KGO. Of course, unplugged it will eventually dwindle down below the 3.7 benchmark we all like. But plugged in, it seems to stay at high voltage

I really can't say enough good things about Bill. Everything we are looking for in these Mom and Pop vapor shops and more.

I've definitely found that to be the case with the pass-through's I've owned. I've never seen it explained why before. Thanks!

It's Chrispy (as in Chris) with an H but no biggie a lot of people miss the H..Crispy Critters used to be a cereal and one of my friends called me "Chrispy" or ChrispyCritter" as a nickname sometimes in the 80's because of my "smoking" ability :D Anyways when I started online gaming in 2004 I used it as my gaming name. I have used it on a lot of sites when it wasn't taken since then :)

Try searching E cig skins..below is a link to one I found..not sure about how the site is though. Also might want to check the sizes as they look like they are for slim cigs..maybe they have different sizes or you have to cut them to size. Good luck :)

Congrats Neissie on your purchase. Have you ordered the pre filled cartridges yet. I would get sample packs until you know what tastes good. Here are some links and I think either 18 mg and 24 mg would be a good choice for nicotine.
Vapor King E-Cigarette Cartomizers
These don't offer sampler packs but the first link they're on sale for .99 each:
510 Pre-Filled Cartomizer - MyFreedomSmokes.com
510 Pre-Filled Cartomizers [510-Carto] - $1.79 : ValueVapor.com, Discount Electronic Cigarettes and e-Liquid
Good Luck.
