GoodCat is an e-liquid company in Florida that sued the ATC in federal court last week (after the Indiana monopoly security firm rejected GoodCat's attempt to contract with them).

GoodCat is/was trying to intervene in the Right to be Smoke-Free lawsuit against Indiana before July 1.

A lawer for GoodCat just notified me that the court ordered the ATC to issue a "provisional" permit to GoodCat before the end of the day.
Hopefully that will be a trend.

It shouldn't be a hard decision to maintain the status quo while the legal issues are heard unless there is some danger to the public's health or something similar. The FDA came up with their rules in secret. Their time table will disrupt business and consumers before legal challenges can be heard. As in Indiana there's no justification for allowing that.

May be we'll get lucky and 8-8 will be just another day.

Good Cat is the supplier for Ricker convince stores. They have heavy lobbying weight behind them. (that letter a few pages back as example)

There is an interesting section of the judge's ruling against the injunction in the federal case that may be good for DIY'ers and people bringing their own over state lines based on an argument the state made. Having legal eyes check me now...

I have a copy of the ruling but haven't a clue as to how to post a copy of it. If anyone wants it I've got it saved in my document file but you'll have to give me a quick tutorial.

If you can get it to .txt format, you can upload directly from your computer just like a .jpg.

So if I understand, those entities with a "Pending Application" must be approved by midnight tonight, otherwise they're SOL?
Also, for those that are active and approved, does anyone know what some of the aliases their businesses use (i.e. brands they would more commonly be known by) and do any of them have Internet sales presences or perhaps even be registered suppliers on this forum?

What an interesting day indeed! Goodcat is also protected from being sued by the 6. Ha!

snork, yes they would need approval by tonight. As far as who's selling what under which name I wish I knew. Cravin Vapes is one of them but the rest, other than two that aren't actually producing eliquid, I have no clue.

Who makes what is trickier than ever now. Many producers have contracted with one of the 4 that do produce now and have permits. 2 have permits but have never sold juice nor made any that anyone has ever seen.

Vapor Bank is the only company that did not create a new company name to hide...

Cali was the only company awarded a permit at the ATC meeting this afternoon.

Not sure what that really means since "pending" has always meant that they are approved, but the paperwork and meeting hasn't been filled out/held.

Am I the only one that doesn't know what the hell this means? That PDF file is a mile long and I don't know what I'm looking for.
