Of course I'm kidding. I didn't have the time to read your first post so sorry I missed your intention!

Did I say I like to vape?

I just started last month, would never have dreamed that I would want to vape indoors, never ever for tobacco! So this is an evolution for me. Me thinks my attempts at humor have been taken too seriously but that’s the way written communication like this often goes.

Cheers everyone and happy vaping!

It’s kind of the way of this forum, if you get more than a handful of replies you can expect any topic, serious or not, to go off the rails. Usually by 4-5 pages we’ve forgotten what we even started talking about. I mean, the shiny thread we’ve discussed everything, I think were on cows for the fourth time.

Yes so true! Back in the earlier days of the forum going off topic in the general vaping area was not looked at favorably at all.:rules::admin:

I still feel like I'm flirting with :danger: going off topic in this area.

Yep, back in the glory days of this forum the hoards of folks that ran here stayed pretty much on topic with an army of mods that kept a pretty tight ship around here. But the majority of those folks do not run here anymore on what has become a mere shadow of what the forum once was. Add that the number of active mods are real scarce now. ECF is becoming a chit-chat house, so some of the old crowd continues to move on and it will mostly be whatever the new crowd makes of it.

Unfortunately, in my situation, I'm not allowed to vape indoors (elderly mom, grandchildren at my son's house) and don't really mind because I never smoked indoors anyway. Actually mom doesn't mind the smell at all, just afraid she might get a tiny dose of nicotine. BTW, my son reminded me in the car (normally he wouldn't care) that it's against the law with my grandson in back seat... he could get in a lot of trouble. Anyway, I like being outdoors, just kind of hard when it's over 100 degrees!

It was really busy! I'll always be thankful I joined here when I did. All the innovation here when vaping was still pretty much a cottage industry. Plus there was such a sense of community and working together here. I remember one night there was over 1000 posts on one chat thread!:laugh:

So many people gone though almost everybody I once knew here has left. Yes it's the forum of the new members now. I sure hope the history though doesn't get forgotten.

I bet that was really something when this was developing into what it is today, sorry I missed it! Glad to be here now to enjoy it.

It really has been fascinating watching the development of the vaping industry. And I'm coming up to 10 years vaping and being on ECF! so I'm afraid I'm "waxing nostalgic".

Is this still the Indoor Vaping thread? I think so.

So, my wife and I were sitting at the kitchen counter doing stuff, I was working on a coil with my ePipe close by (it’s not firing correctly) and I picked it up and asked if she minds if I vape some inside.

Wait for it.......

She said “probably not” and smiled.

I will minimize the volume of vaping inside based on info presented herein and the article about the vape store air quality.

So I learned a few things here and not just about vaping.

I had no idea it was illegal anywhere to vape in a car with kids. I think they tried and failed to make smoking illegal w/kids in the car in Ohio, but there’s been no effort to do it with vaping that I’ve heard.
