Ok...so why did it take you to call and post this in order for us to find out about it (rhetorical question)....I mean it is a stand up thing to do on their part, but how about an email or post to let people know about this???

It would be fantastic if every vendor spent hours and hours on this and every other vapor fan forum answering questions, but lets be realistic here. They're trying to run a company. They have work to do. I'd rather they spent their time catching up with shipping than haunting these boards.

It would be nice if they gave us a more timely status update, but busting their balls over the fact that no one from InnoVapor has posted in the last 24 hours is more than a little silly IMO.

I don't know man. I'm not them. I agree with you that they should be issuing this update themselvs but I figured updating everyone with I know is the least I could do. Thees alot of people as anxious as I am or moreso.

I believe that iv will be posting about this in the near future once **** is closer to being sorted out. Right now I think they want to make sure this new cartridge batch fits right before setting anything in stone.

While I agree with you almost whole-heartedly, we were all told a few days ago that all of the shipping crap had been sorted out and they were on track. At one point we were told that we could deal with the new attys/old carts because it wasn't that terrible and that to get the new ones would take too long for orders on hand.

I haven't busted their balls about not posting in 24 hours. I just think that when orders take a long time (and in this case they have - again...I didnt need my stuff like today or even tomorrow, but it should at least be shipped by then, a week after the order was placed and paid for- and hell...some people have been waiting WEEKS) you should be able to get info from the people and they should offer it..it is just good business practice.
 
Just an update to my previous post earlier today. When I got home from work, there was my order.
I never did recieve a shipping confirmation but no big deal.

To those like myself that are waiting for a tracking number, don't hold your breath. But I'm sure your order will arrive.
Personally I'll probably still use IV but I think it's only fair to get some assurance that their shipping problems are sorted out before placing my next order.

I believe it's across the board.
I too was thinking the same thing a week ago. (maybe the delays are specific items) I seen the thread concerning the PCC's & EVO's but I figured, I'm only getting 2ea 510 atty's & batts & some Ecopure...Everything seemed "in stock" when I ordered so I figured there wouldn't be any delays.
Well it's been 5 days now & I still haven't been notified anythings been shipped.
Order #668 if Mark, Noah, Millie or anyone else from IV is reading this.

I understand getting backed up, suppliers not holding up there end of deals, customs, bad parts etc etc. Let me make this clear.
I don't hold IV responsible for those issues.
I DO have issues with the way things are handled with shipping though. There seems to be a real lack of communication that should get fixed ASAP.

You were order 668? What was in your shipment, just parts? Mine was order number 617 and monday I was told it wasnt shipped and last night i received my tracking info.

I was just sent this as a reply to my order inquiry.

"The carts that fit the new atty's will arrive in shop later today and your order will go out soon after that.

I am sorry that this is taking so long to fix.

None of us were really sure anything was broken!
And what about the folks that already got the new ones without the new carts?
 
Nope, not kidding. The new atty's are useless to me at the moment though. Good thing I don't HAVE to use them right now as I've got others that the tips fit properly, plus a shiney new toy from ps :D

Anyhow. I emailed IV asking if they were going to send me 2 carts to fit these atty's. Seems only fair. I'm sure after they get the proper carts, they ship new attys orders WITH new carts.
I'm sure Mark or someone will correct this for me.

I still think they made a bad choice sending these out. I mean, I DOUBT the new atty's are a true Joye product. So that means QC on someones part (IV's supplier) was laxed, meaning IV should've sent them back & notified outstanding orders.
I mean it's not IV's fault someone in China reamed the atty's to damn wide but it is their fault for letting them go out the door.
But thats just my .02

my big problem here is that they didn't inform anyone what was going on...They just held back shipments because of the atty/cart problem...I have been informed by them that the new attys are Joyes and the reason nothing was shipped was because the new carts were going to be there today...Now I have to imagine that last night they already had this plan in mind but did not bother to relay any information. They just doled out USPS tracking numbers to some that asked for them. Tomorrow is a week since my order and the fact that NOTHING has gone out at all is appauling when you consider it would have taken 5 minutes for them to notify folks at least here on the forum.
Don't get me wrong....holding back the order was probably the right thing to do...I do not fault them for that....

I have been waiting for a 510 kit (#609) and I called Mark today and he said they were waiting for the new carts so I told him just ship me the Titan attys and the carts that go with them. He said Ok. So we will see what happens...

And unless you call them..you dont know what is going on or that you even have the option of getting the titans.

The 1st shipping complaint in this thread is from 7/13 order # 282, if dntbuyblu wasn't kidding, we are up to #777 that's...let's see...carry the 1...and average of 55 order per day. If nothing else the complaints are actually increasing business or am I just vaping crack?

BTW, I'm waiting on an order as well, but I have juice 'n batts, 'n attys 'n stuff, so no nicotine withdrawl rants from me.

Maybe I just don't "get" this whole e-cig business, but I am gobsmacked that any business would think posting on a forum is sufficient communication (in lieu of letting individual customers know why their products haven't shipped). I'm not the only one who was told on the phone (a few times) that the order would be shipped by today, tomorrow, etc. That's not ok regardless of the kind of business (internet or otherwise). You tell someone exactly why their order hasn't been filled and give them an honest assessment of when it will be.

I did not appreciate blanket, generic statements about all the intervening, confounding factors as a reason why orders weren't being filled. I wanted to know why my order wasn't and when it would be. I can't blame any of these guys for saying WTF?? because a forum update is all they have to go on. It is also true supplying nicotine to nicotine addicts is in a whole different league than selling sheets to housewives on Ebay. Most of us have to shop around for the lowest price and have to figure out (in our twisted addictive way) how to get our fix in the meantime. At 6-12 bucks a day that is no small matter.

I just couldn't put another order in with this supplier because I don't want to go back to analogs and can't afford another two weeks without replenishing my supplies. It's a lot more cost effective to budget a higher initial outlay and get stuff within a couple of days than to make do for two weeks. The old "penny-wise, pound foolish" lesson learned.

I was glad I could help out a new company and figured they would work harder to make it all come together but it just hasn't worked out that way. I'm sorry they are having such a tough time, I wish them the best, but due to limited resources right now I can't just order from someone else while I'm waiting to get my products.

I would have accepted a blanket statement from a fledgling company over what seems to be the duck and cover method. In my mind it would have saved them time and energy and maybe gotten them to get out shipments faster. I mean not 24 hours ago I was given the USPS number and told that if it did not show shipped today to contact them again....it did not show shipped today so I contacted them and that was when I was told about the cart/atty problem...I would think someone would just pop on and say "Hey....getting new carts for the attys...sorry for the wait, but these work..." or something like that.

Bigbob...I think that was because we were reassured earlier in the week that the shipping issues were ironed out.....and then the atty/cart problem hit.
