I know Leaford it is confusing isn't it but to be honest with you I have not found any battery that lasts really more than three to four hours so if you're getting six to eight you are lucky.
At present to sedansa batteries I have the LCD fades out while dragging I don't even get to the cut off flashing stage so these have been disappointing to. The only battery I have tried that seems to last more than others is on the Generic pen style rn4072 we have been using two of these over the last eight weeks and atomiser on one went after six weeks of heavy use and one of the batteries has just started to not last too long.
I personally am not a fan of the rn4072 but to say that they are all still chugging away good as for sedansa theJanty I'm having to replace the parts after two weeks. As theJanty atomiser tends not to perform as good after a week's use and after two weeks I am sending them back for replacements but when their new there is nothing that beats them.

Well, it helps that I usually am using 2 or 3 e-cigs at a time, a pen as my main cig, and a couple minis as backups and for variety of strengths and flavors. That's why I started to do puff counts, to get a meassure of battery life that is not affected by usage pattern. Even if I am only using one e-cig, the duration as far as hours goes will vary according to what strength nicotine I'm using. Lower strength means I end up puffing more often. A puff count using the auto-cutoff to make sure all puffs are of equal length is the only way I've figured out to measure it reliably and consistently.

Yes I tend to use different units all through the day as I have most of them now but I have found since I've been using pillbox 36 liquid they're not welded to my mouth all day and you know when to put them down which I think is a good thing with these high-strength you can physically take say 15 drags and then put it down for half an hour like real cigarette.
So I think this 36 can be an education in itself learning us to use electronic cigarette like it was intended for say 15 drags them put it down.

Well my sedansa batteries last no longer than Generic ones we have in fact we've had more faults with the sedansa batteries than the Generic ones they are more powerful but they ain't lasting any longer.

My writing skills are not that good as i was trying to say that they are more powerful/store more energy not that they last longer

I can't comment on how long they last as only had them 4 weeks or so but i am sure trog who has never owned any can inform us all

Yes Ted but do you want a sedansa shaped like a frigging screwdriver in your mouth but I suppose it could be used as a teeth brace reversal device but you have to take your hat off to him and applaud him for what he is trying to do.
I would have thought somebody could come up with a device that takes normal rechargeable 2 AA batteries .
I know this would make it thicker as more like a cigar and but the weight would be distributed more even. But least we could go down the shop and get the batteries when we needed them and choice and brand we choose simple.
As I've been using rechargeable AA for years on a daily basis within my musical equipment and most of them tend to give me a least two years use and then I'm quite happy with that.
But I suppose somebody will come back with a logical answer that this can't be done

I'm using a Janty Kissbox classic at the moment with a manual switch and an ecigar battery in the USB connector. The USB cable doesn't need to be plugged in to work, just keep changing and recharging the ecigar battery. The only negative side is that the trailing one metre wire sometimes gets in the way.

These are the ecigar batteries Ted - DealExtreme: $4.32 Ultra Fire 10440 3.6V 500mAh 2Pack They last longer than classic batteries and are cheap to replace.

In physical size more of a AAA size but the voltage I think is different to standard but you need to speak to trog regarding batteries as he is the authority around here for that.
As I know nothing regarding batteries at all apart from which one is going where.

i could make one that took AA sized batteries ned.. we just decided to use that "dumpy" shaped battery format for the prototype.. we had to start somewhere.. it wasnt really meant to look like "screwdriver".. but the resemblance at first glance was so great we nicknamed it that.. he he he

as for my know nothing at all about lithium battery technology name sake.. i dont need to own a bloody sedansa to know u cant get a quart into a pint pot.. if it was possible there would be no need for "screwdrivers".. or longer AA powered cigar shaped devices..

ps.. just to add ned.. an AA lithium cell has roughly the same capacity as the screwdriver cell.. the smaller AAA sized cigar cell has 1/3 the capacity.. its kind of on the edge of being big enough.. but we will probably make one using this battery size for those who put small above long run time..

but we are in uncharted waters.. we dont know what people want except a divice that works.. we also know what some people want is science fiction..

some things can be done some things can only be dreamed about.. a weigh nothing cigarette sized e cig that lasts for ever is one of the dream about things.. having a little knowledge about current technology and what can be done with it does help here..

battery technology is the big hold up here.. just like it is with laptops and electric powered cars.. a few years ago folks thought by now this problem would be solved.. sadly it hasnt.. no wonder battery is on the skyline..

Lol. I might be able to manage that Ted, if I really put my tiny female brain to it. It's the small unimportant things in life that concern me. Like raising children, providing nutritious food, securing adequate medical care and the like. Nothing as important as batteries, cars and boats. i am very old fashioned.. i dont believe in this equality thing.. women are good at some thing men are good at others... life should be based i on this simple unchangeable fact.. its been so for the last hundred thousand years or so..
