Drew: I am wondering if you would know what Voltage the hello/goodbye is.

the riva and ego are 3.1 but would you know if the hello is also 3.1 or is it 3.7.

Bump Drew I would like to know the same 3.1 or 3.7 my guess being this big is 3.7 but I would like 3.1 that number seems to work best with your LR Attys could you imagine this 1300mAh Batt in a 3.1 IMR NOT THAT WOULD ROCK !!!

These gigures are all loaded voltage readings...If you check your Ego it will get crazy readings but that is because of the electronics in it that Pulse...They are all 3.7 Volt batts...I have a Riva and a Hello that I just tested UNLOADED and they both read 3.5ish after 8+ hours of use on the Hello and about 3 or 4 on the Riva...
Now I just tested aN Ego fully charged and it read 4.1 UNLOADED...
Its not so easy to test these loaded as they have Pulse Modulation chips in them if Im not mistaken...I will tinker around a little later and let you guys know...

Drew, if you have access to an oscilloscope you could read the pulsed voltage and get a pretty accurate reading. If you were closer, I would let you use mine. Even a good digital meter like a fluke 87 should be able to give a fairly accurate reading I would think. If you have an 87 then there is a min/max button and maybe could pick up the highs and lows of the pulses. That might just be getting a little too involved.

Yeah Drew I'm not really sure on that one either. Maybe it's so it doesn't put as hard of a load on the battery to make it last longer like you said or maybe it has something to do with the discharge rate of the battery. Heck, I really don't know.

don't be surprised If you get a mad rush on your hello parts!
I referred about 10 people so far from another vendor who sells the unit but has no stock of batts and Atty's!
So they've all been pointed in your direction.

pwm provides a way to control the current in devices, regulation in other words.

If there is a pwm it should cut off once out of regulation(like original 510 consistent vapor until battery is dead)

instead of tapering off vapor until low charge (like original 901/801 style battery)

lol...just teasin Bad....I have not heard about any autos becoming available...The only thing I dont like about auto batts is some are easily damaged by dripping cause they arent sealed and it tends to damage the switch...I will keep my eyes pealed for new things though...Thanks
